*6-21-2015* We are OLD!!!!!

Twas time for us to celebrate out oldness.
This was the weekend of Brent's 20 year high school reunion.
We were excited- because my mom and dad took our kids up to their house for the weekend for our birthdays and it couldn't have been a better weekend for them to do so.
We invited Hunters and Allreds to come have an adult sleepover for the weekend and let me just say- any weekend spent in the company of these best friends is glorious. We just start out laughing, and we never, ever, stop.
First thing's first- hat picture in the Colombia Outlet-as soon as they got there!!!
Cody had been in Orem for work, so he'd stayed at our house the night before, then Allred's grabbed Ivy on their way up. Oh the reunion- sweet sweet sweetness.

After the outlets, we split from the boys. We had our own shopping to do. All of us were looking for new outfits to wear and it was hilarious to hear the boys because they were about as concerned as we were.  We all tried on like 5 outfits a piece before we settled on something. I love us.
We stopped at Swig, then Bella Ella, and finally to DownEast where I found the perfect dress. The "dress" for the evening was not formal, but definitely nicer than jeans.  It was going to be at the Governor's Mansion, so maybe that's why? All I know is that it sent us all into a frenzy. We didn't want to be too dressed up, but not too casual....In the end- it SOOOO didn't matter either :)
We finally all piled into the good ol van and were on our way. Armed with my new selfie stick and smiles! Perfection I tell you!

And, as per usual, we had to have a photo shoot beforehand.

Girls...couples...boys...
Couldn't have been more proud to be this guys' date. The fun thing about his reunion (andmine next year for that matter) is that we know so much of the same people! So both reunions are kind of for both of us! Cheers!

Once there, we had to get name tags,  mingle, and find a seat.  Oh the mingles. It was sooooooo fun!!!!! Everyone was so excited to see everyone! It was great. So much smiling and hugging and loves and laughter! Everywhere!

We are all nerds.

Look at this group o' fellas from the past!
Back row- Cody Floyd, Keith Dickinson, Cody Hunter, Ryan Cheesman
Front row- Tyler, Landon Bye, Brent and Jake Hill
Us girls played paparazzi all night. Dinner was catered by Blue Lemon, and there were like 7 cakes for dessert- so of course Ivy and I sampled all.
Girl Picture! Becca Farrer (who was a year younger than me but married Andy who was in Brent's grade) Me, Kace, Heather Bye (Landons) and Sam (Cody Floyd's)
Lisa Hawkes was in the back, and Ivy showed up just in time.
AW- the buddies!!!! I just love it!
We finally decided it was time to pull out the selfie stick. Brent and Landon were totally against it.....Ivy's smile--- it's like Kyli in all my wedding pictures.
But look at how much fun Brent was having with it!

They just laughed their heads off!

And how else would we have gotten this perfect angle!?

I snuck the stick in between the legs of the man huddle, but they caught me.

And since Ivy was taking selfies of her and Keith, Me and Ty decided to get one of ourselves too.

OH Janell!!!! One of me old besties! I am so glad she came! Love her!

After reuning for a loooong time, we headed to where else? JCW and got shakes and fries.  Kirk Pead and some other boys and wives showed up too, so more reuning was had!

That night we all stayed up way too late reminiscing- like we always do- about the good ol days. Just enjoying the company and the friends from forever. I seriously love these people!!!!!!

Ty and Kacee left really early Sunday morning to surprise his parents for church. We, on the other hand, did the exact opposite and slept in and went to breakfast at Penny Ann's in Draper. Holy smokes was it good! We looked like the biggest oinkers in all the world!!!

Afterwards, Ivy and I ran into TJ MAxx and found some real nice sports bras, then the Hunters' had to depart. Oh so sad. We love them so! Had to facetime a bit on their ride home :)
And we facetimed the children that evening. Oh Finny....sportin the scary mask.

Couldn't be more thankful for my parents and their taking the kids this weekend. Just what the dr. ordered. I love having staycations, and they make them possible every year. I love it.

It was one of the funnest weekends we'd had in forever. We will never forget it!
