and moving right along to the busiest week of October....
One time the gals wanted some pumpkin pancakes, but green ones, so I think they look more like skeletons, but twas still fun for them!

We always have a friends halloween party at the park or at a church- in case of inclement weather- and this years was planned super impromptu, but we still had fun with those that could come!
JesseAnn treated everyone to some face painting
the kids got to trick or treat to the mamas
and they all frosted cookies and played to their hearts content

all the kiddos of cuteness

and the mamas of cuteness
i love these girls so much! We have all been through so much together and it seriously brings tears to my eyes knowing I've been blessed with them in my life.

I don't know where Jess went for the smooshy picture!

Claire, Sawyer and sweet Lucy
this was the best. Pierce slid down the slide and I caught him and then he turned right around and held his arms out to catch Summer. It was SO cute. I love that boy.

and a scary bat!

I'm in love with Sawyer's pre-school. They do the cutest things and she brings home something great every day!  This day it was a spider hat. I had to take a picture!
In my craftiness of the busiest week ever. I decided to make some cuppycakes I'd seen on some crafty blog. I went against everything I know to be true and bought storebought frosting cuz I wasn't in the mood to make it that day, (gasp) and it turned out ok. I hadn't refrigerated them yet when I took the picture of the inside, but after they were refrigerated, they looked more like candy corns inside.

I made them for our Annual Ramey Family Pty of Frightness.
The kids LOVE this party and we all look so forward to it.
It's a fun tradition Mana has.

Time for crafts! They made whatever they wanted on paper, then stuck it inside of some nifty cups to have as their own.

Every year we HAVE to scare the kids....mean, I know, but we just HAVE to.  This year JD and I decided to have him go downstairs and THUMP the ceiling. When it started, it actually freaked me and Karri out cuz it was right underneath us and we'd forgotten it was going to happen, but the kids didn't find it so funny. They were DYING. Sawyer got right into a panic and was begging to go home (go figure), Conli and Mara were SUPER concerned and the boys were trying to not act scared, but were terrified too. I decided to go check it out and took the older ones with me. We met right up with JD in the basement and they didn't even put it together that he was standing in the storage room with a ginormous stick...just normal I guess! :)  We went back upstairs, sure there was nothing down there, and then it started again. By this time, Conli had come to her wits end and was not amused.  I told her and Sawyer that it was just JD and he came upstairs with the evidence, but they were not so happy to see him.  Finally we got them settled down and Conli decided to forgive him....ahhhh the joys....

80's flashback sisters. Breanne was JEM and Karri was someone from How I Met Your Mother, but I don't watch that show, so I don't remember (sorry!!!)

us and our moo print clothes

next up, *pin the nose on the pumpkin*

Sawyer was super worried about the wrong placement each time

Mana did the worst of all ... we will blame it on the super spin job Breanne did on her! :)

I don't think I ever showed my masterpiece of toe painting Casi did in George....mummy big toes, and then halloween plaid on the rest....so festive am I.

Then it was story time. Conli was worried it was going to be a scary story, but lo it wasn't!

We must give a HUGE shout out to Karri for purchasing the costumes this year. She's the best auntie!

Squishy finally got set free from the blue greatness and ran wild.

The next day was my and Brent's 10th anniversary
i can't begin to explain the love I have for this guy.
He is the greatest thing I could ever have asked for.
I thank my father in heaven daily for his presence in my life.
He seriously completes me in every way possible.
(cheesy as it may sound)
My kids are blessed beyond belief with the daddy they got and I am so happy for them

We don't ever really do crazy much for anniversaries, and we had used our "anniversary trip" excuse in August, but luckily this night, sweet Shikeyah came to our rescue and watched our kids so we could celebrate at Asian Star.
YUMMMMMMMM!!!!!
Brent and his ever craved walnut shrimp:
After dinner we went and saw Real Steal.
SOOOO GOOD!!!!!
I loved it so much!
fitting for the night! :)
I made Keyah snap a quick pic of us when we got home.
I love you Misterrrrr!

Fri afternoon, Sawyer had her Halloween Carnival and program. She HAD to sit by Emily, but of course, and they were hilarious the whole time singing their hearts out and whispering things to each other.

the carnival was awesome. They did a great job. Cotton candy, Pizza, treats, spook alley, glitter hair!, blow up slides...every childs' dream!!!!

It was so fun spending time with Soy there! She LOVES learning. And she loves school!
