NEWSFLASH!!!!!!!

ok, anyone that knew me from like age 11-now....knows I was a CRAZY NKOTB fan!!!! Remember the walls- EVERY wall in my room- covered in posters and anything else NKOTB I could find? Jordan Knight- always my boyfriend when we'd play "college". I had the jammies and everything. Once, my friends and I thought we'd send them a book of mormon even---oh children-----anywho.......this has my attention!
2 people told me today about this, and I find it comletely blog worthy! I will be going to a renunion concert- with Ray, Janet, and Emily in tow I'm sure!!!!
They may no longer be new. They may no longer be kids. But NKOTB just might be out to prove they still have the right stuff.
New Kids on the Block, the prototypical boy band of the 1980s and early '90s that preceded the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync on the pop charts and in the pages of Tiger Beat, are reportedly on track to reunite.
The band's official Website, http://us.rd.yahoo.com/dailynews/eonline/en_music_eo/storytext/3740734d8c3a_43e3_9959_6a0ee4d6832a/26099731/SIG=10mltmffe/*http://www.nkotb.com, is, after a long period of dormancy, once again up and running and imploring fans to keep hanging tough for a forthcoming announcement. That announcement, per People, is that Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood will be making like the Spice Girls and relaunching their once chart-dominating act.
There's no word yet, however, on whether the group's resurrection will include a tour, a greatest-hits album or the release of any new material. Or, apparently, whether all five members have signed off on a reunion.
P.S. no, I don't still listen to the tunes often, but I do have EVERY cd, and I mean EVERY cd they've ever made just waiting in my case!!!!!
P.S.S make fun all you want- I'm not embarrassed any more....:)

Till We Meet Again.....

I know there are going to be a million blogs on our beloved Prophet's passing this week, but I couldn't not send out my love to Him. The first time I remember coming into contact with this sweet man was when I was about 12 I think. I was in Montana with my grandparents for the summer and we went to stake conference- which in Montana is a 3 hour drive- I wasn't feeling good at all (dang snickers) and was about to go out to the car to sleep, but all the sudden the congregation started singing "We Thank Thee Oh God for a Prophet" and I saw him come in the door. I was overwhelmed by the spirit that hit me at that moment. Seeing his sweet self come walking in, waving at everyone, at me- I felt. I KNOW he is a Prophet of God and I am feel so blessed to have been alive when he was here to lead us!
We were at Whalen's last night when Summer's dad called with the news, then our Bishop called us, then the texts started rollin' in, and we were playing games, but it was a calming spirit that came into the house when Sum got off the phone and told us. We talked about him for a moment and then went on with our night, but wow.....it was such a surprise to us all.
When we got home, channel 5 had a special on about him from 10-11 without commercials and I was soooo super tires, but I couldn't fall asleep no matter what. I just watched, and cried and grew to love him even more. I'm so happy for him that he gets to be with his Savior and the love of his life once again. How we wil miss Him!!!!
