The Sweetest Day

Well, our little boy can finally say he's been baptized! He was soooooo excited for this day, and it was so perfectly sweet. I'm so grateful for Max. He's the best!
Mana Patti made Max a towel with CTR embroidered on it and a sweet poem to remind him of the importance of his day. It was cool.
I don't know where my head was at this day, but this is the only picture i have of our family, and i completely missed one of Max with my parents- HATE IT!!!!!!!
Luckily, Mana Ramey got one of him and Brent before...and dressed in white.
LOVE THIS!

Some of the ladies that came. Max had such an enourmous group of people there to cheer him on. It was so awesome. We love you all so much and are so thankful for the support and love you showed him this day!
Hadley was completely anti-smiling at me this day, but I finally got a giggle out of her and am so glad I got in on camera. She was trying so hard to get her hand up there to cover the laughs, but hahahahah, I beat you!!!!
and her cute parentals.

Mackey & Bear
Dad and his "other daughter." Dad loves seeing Janet cuz we've been friends since we were 10 and he loves that we're still together! It's sweet! He gets super excited! :)
(and no dad, we won't tell her dad so you get hidden at Wal-Mart! heheheh)Crazy Christiansens
Since Pat's a lover of pictures, I didn't let him know I was taking one- too bad I should've let the girls...sorry for the chewing photos!
Bubba getting more food- hmph, imagine that!

Brynn & Conli sneaking more treats...that's another one I wouldn't have imagined!!! :)

kiddie table- and as always- ange was ready for a photo! DAY-O!!! :)

Alec had the ride of his life on these chairs!
auntie

some uncles we love
and Jena was finally able to tell mom and dad in real life that she's pregnant again!!!!! This had been a secret for weeks for the rest of us, but it was so cute how she told- she got a bottle of PREGO spaghetti sauce and tied a blue and pink ribbon on it. It was so funny, cuz it took both of them a while to figure it out- then mom started crying and it was perfect! So, here is our sisterly baby bumps photo!
Derek was all about ruining our photo op. And ruin he did- not once,

but twice.
He was perfectly content in his hand not making it in the picture as long as he messied up our faces! And messy he did!!!! The nerve!
finally we got him under control and were able to get a decent one!
yet another picture of me with a sibling I look nothing like! Kamdyn got so excited when she realized she and Sawyer were both wearing brown that she asked straight away for a picture! these 2 are finally to the age when they play real good rather than fight and it's a blessing!
Brody, Tara, Starli & Braden were sweet to come, and we had fun hanging out! Thanks again T for all your help! (and for not fighting with the onery girl coming to take our place at the clubhouse!)
oh this boy.
how i love him.
i don't think we could've dreamed up a better son.
i really don't. He's what dreams are made of.

He is so full of love, compassion, tenderness, honesty, humor, spirituality, giving, kindness, sweetness...the list goes on and on.

He was SO excited for this day to be here.
He was nervous, emotional, and excited all tied into one little ball of Max.

I've heard it said that this baptism was one for the books.
My dad and Brent gave THEE sweetest talks to him.
I could listen to them teach him all day.
How he loves these men.
And how fortunate he is to have them as his daddy and papa.
kid lucked right out!

Brent was super emotional all day which was one of the sweetest things ever. I love these boys.
He had to be "dunked" twice cuz the first time Brent forgot to say his name, so that was fun :) And his confirmation was amazing. Wowsers!

*journaling moment*
jena and derek got him a journal for the special day and last night he was in his room crying a bit, so I went in to t see what was wrong-
He just didn't know what to write!
He had no great story or amazing thing happen that day.
So, I had a little chat with him about how sometimes we don't have incredible days happen, but it's ok, and talked to him about my journal when I was 8 and all these little things trying to make him feel better.
When I was done talking to him he looked up at me, with tears running down his cheeks and gave me a huge hug and said, "thanks mom. You always make me feel better."
proud parent! proud parent moment!

oh i love you maxwell!!!!

Uncle Scott refuses to smile in pictures... i dunno!

and conli was quite attached to Brod all afternoon!
My parents and us got Max a new set of scriptures and a new case for them. He was bummed on his birthday when he didn't get any and he could NOT contain the smiles when I pulled them out for him. He LOVES them. I hope he'll continue to love them forever!
love this crazy red head!
apparently they both thought of the same stank face, just at opposite times!

Soy loves her some Jess. She wouldn't look at me- just nuzzled!
That evening we took our kids to see Despicable Me with Heather, her mom and her kids.
We went to the WaterGardens Theater, and it's pretty awesome. All movies are $3. Kids 3 and under are free. They don't show rated R's and all concessions are $1-2! It's great! For sure go there. Plus- we'd gone to see the movie Fri. evening, but the times had changed, so we couldn't go, and the owner was actually going to let us just go in and watch the movie but had forgotten there was a showing going on at that moment! He's so nice! Try it, you'll like it!
Post movie, the kids got their groove on.
Max dancing with Hayleigh.

a little bit of the robot and what not

boogeyin the whole way out of the theater.
Brent and Sawyer were with us up until about 20 minutes left of the movie. Then Sawyer got completely restless, so Brent took her home.....why I otta.....that child......so here's the rest of the gang.
What a wonderfully splendid day!!!!!
Thank you all for your help and love and support and good food- some of which I'm still eating....oh the fat......

we love you all!
