Yes, it's true, I am now a 30 year old woman. Remember when you were little, playing "college" (Janet?) as me and my friends (Janet) used to call it, pretending to be like 25- cuz it was way old! Well, good bye 25- hello 30! I really don't care AT ALL that I'm thirty. I kinda like it. I kinda like telling people I'm "that old" and having them say, "are you for real? I thought you were my age!" (and they're 25-27= like 30's that much older) or for instance, having the lil guy that works at the Buckle audibly gasp when he finds out I have 3 kids.....oh the laughs...

Saturday morning, we decided to join Whalen's at the Prove Children's Parade. Max had been SO SUPER excited to go, and get his bike decorated and ride by Brynn. Well, we woke up that morning, and I got to decoratin', and mind you the parade is only about 8 blocks long. At about block 6 1/2, Max decided he was going to turn around cuz he was "done". We talked him into keepin' on, but he was in a BAD mood.....so lovely. And, they gave popsicles away afterwards- well, Mr. Happy Pants doesn't like popsicles- oh gosh! 
Luckily the Warner family had the great idea to go to Provo Bakery and we got the kid some donuts. (best donuts I've ever had, I might add. Again, drooling)
Right after the parade, I went to Chili's to meet some girlfriends for my birthday lunch. I have the best friends! I really love you guys! Thanks Nicole (and Kaylee), Janei'a, Dar, Ange, Em, Jesse, Steph and Mej for coming. And to you who were there in spirit- loves to all!
We also go to celebrate our birthdays with Brent's family on Sunday, but I have no idea where the pictures went! But it was fun, and we say thank you to all of you!
For the 1st time EVER I decided to wake up at the butt crack of dawn for something besides girls camp, or a brand new baby- for the balloon festival. Not sure I'll do that again, but we'll see....it was cool, but worth waking up that early? I guess you do what you do to build a little family tradition eh? We met up with Brent's mom, and Pat and Bre and the kids, then we went to Mickey D's for breakfast....I love me some egg mcMuffin!

That night Brent went fishing with Sean and Jeff- FINALLY...they had a blast and there's a hilarious vidoe of Sean on the Frenzy blog if you feel the need to view- warning- there is come bad language involved.....hahahaha!
On the morning of the 4th we headed down to feast on the Kiwanis Breakfast for free- thanks Mana- and then headed over to the parade for our viewing pleasure.
Again, Conli's viewing pleasure it was not...she HATED the noise of the guns and such. She whimpered pretty much the whole time....you know when you have those days when you're DONE with your kids???? I was having one....it was not a happy 4th for me....that's all I'll say about that.
Max had the time of his life. He actually said, on the way home, in the back seat to Conli, "This is the best day of my life!" (why wasn't I feeling it???)

Sawyer was LOVING it. She danced every time a band came by. It was so cute. Maybe I'll have to figure out how to post the video- she's got sweet moves!
All the 4th of July gear....so cute they are- so decieving they are......just kidding- I do love them all, but this day, was not good. Did I mention I didn't even watch fireworks in the night????? YEah, oh the 4th of Freakin July!!! I was in my room watching a movie, by myself- all by my choice, but geez.....
