Earring, Mullets....Girls!!!!

Today was an eventful day for the ladies of the Ramey household.

Sawyer got her first EARRINGS!!!

After the initial shock wore off we were able to be on speaking terms again. We were in a fight for all of about 2 minutes, but we've moved on; we got through it. You can get through anything if you have food by your side, something to hold on to. That's my motto- and like mother like daughter apparently! Now for all of you saying, "How dare she do that to her baby! I can't believe that-"

RELAX!!!!

She doesn't even remember it happened!
(Thank you Em for being photographer extraordinaire!)

She now sports some most darling bling...

Conli has been fighting off a mullet for the better part of 2 years now. The thing is, she's lost this battle, the mullet was winning and so, it had to go. I've been thinking we should cut her hair, at least trim it up for her sake, for a while, but we always pull it up or wear it curly, and when it's like that you can't tell there's only a "party in the back". But, Brent wanted her hair off, so yesterday I had my friend Heather cut off about 2 inches which i thought was enough, but....
When we got home, Brent was like, "Why didn't you cut her hair?" (men!)

So, today, I sucked it up and we cut it to her chin....I had trauma! I almost cried. I'm one of the braver ones when it comes to my hair I feel, but wow, did it make me sad to cut Conli's! I LOVE my little curly-locks....and now I'm afraid they've gone to a better place. I hope they return, but we'll have to see.

She on the other hand, loves her "pwitty hay cut" and couldn't get home fast enough to show her daddy. (who loves it!!!)
But let's be honest, how can you not love that face?

It's darling. I love it! And she's still my Sweet Baby Girl- how I love her.
Daddy feels better about it now that we cut it "for reals"!
I feel that she just turned 5 over night....crazy what a haircut can do eh?
