Max's big end of the year project was making a diorama on an animal of his choice, a poster about his animal, and presenting it to parents/classes as they came to see the biz! He chose :WHALE SHARKS: and learned a whole lotta business about this water dwelling creature. He chose to dress up all nice and was soooo excited to present to us when we arrived at our designated times. The kids were so cute. Mrs. Olson had given them all their own little pointers and my boy NAILED it. Kids' not afraid of being in front of people. He eats is up, and it is delicious to watch.Here he is with his amazing teacher that we love.
And his amazing teacher from last year came specifically to see his presentation with her class too.
He grabbed the first little ones that walked in the door and went straight to explaining his poster!

We were super duper lucky to be able to stay in our friends' condo for the wknd. (such a blessing) and the kids were ELATED. They had to have a bit of a dance party when we finally arrived.

I've never been more proud of my sister than I was watching her and her hubby get sealed to their beautiful little girls. My mom got to help Makley place her little paws where they needed to go and it was just amazing. Oh, the tears!!!!!!
I'm so grateful for the knowledge we have of eternal families.
And I'm so grateful Jena and Derek finally made it.

We headed over to Christiansens for a BBQ delight after swimming for a bit.It was delicious
That night the kids went swimming again, we hit up the Pizza Factory in Washington- DO NOT GO THERE TO EAT. IT IS FOUL!!!!!!!and sunday morning we got to have some family pictures taken by the awesome Haley Warner that I CANNOT WAIT to see!!!!!!
Makley was blessed that morning and then we cleaned up and headed home. It was a busy wknd, but fun, and I am grateful we got to be there for these awesome events.
Jena and Derek moved the next day and my heart hurts for them to be so far away, so we best plan a visit!!!
Conli's losing teeth left and right. Here's after one of her top frontals spilled out into her friends hand at the gym daycare. She's since lost the other one, and inherited a lisp. It's my favorite thing this summer!

after we'd gotten enough of the rides, and when dad had had enough of trying not to woof his cookies, we headed over to Mana's for a little R&R until the festivites of later!Karri is always our champion at saving our parade spot. She and Summer went and got our spots on Thursday morning- that's 3 days- yes, 3 DAYS before the parade.
Ya know what just erks me though? Creepers trying to move our stuff and cramp our space and mozy down in front of us.

After the parade, and before the fireworks, we decided to run and use up the rest of our tickets....little did I know that was everyone's plan. We had the kids go down the big slide cuz it was the shortest line, then Summer and I took a plunge and it was fun, then we split up and Breanne and I took these beauties into the carousel line of longness. 25 min my friends, that's how long we stood in line. Only to have the fireworks go off whilst still in line- the fireworks are my favorite part, but I decided to be a good mommy/auntie and push through for the gals. After the carousel of delight, Mara got brave enough to try the Indiana Jones thingamabob and did fantastic as I ran around and around directing her highness to the top. She was so nervous, and timid, but made it and when she got done, and the line could move again :) she screamed- THAT WAS SOOOO AWESOME!!!!

and Summer got hooked up with a fantastico deal in the Park City for a night, so we all took advantage and had a mini girls trip! It was blessed- but too short! We high tailed it outta here at 2 pm Friday and went straight to shopping to our hearts delight.
then we got sick of it, and went to the restaurant ON TIME and feasted upon chips and salsa while our NOT ON TIME friends, lollygagged around some more....no hard feelings.....
finally the whole gang had arrived, and Sum's parents just happened to be eating at the same fine establishment, so we got a group picture!
