While daddy's away, the gang will play!!!

First, a little bitty catch up....I just got the pictures from Conli's 4th of July weekend and since we missed her oh so much- she needs to be included too!!! Here's Conli, Kyli, Nya and Mana ready for the big fireworks somewhere up north! The girls had oodles of fun playing on the tramp and in the sprinklers.
don't they look completely related!!!???

and the cousins, ready to play!

Nya, Conli & Had

And a re-cap of Janet's birthday! I wasn't able to get to lunch at CPK, but I was able to meet up for some KILLERS after and some delicious Farr's afterwards (don't tell Summer I ate it) Loved the movie and the treats, AND most of all, la company!

hard to believe Janet and I have been celebrating eachother's birthday's since we were 10!!!!! Holy moses!!!!

and what'a pre show w/o the silly face

Max took his wallet to buy all his friends treats this day- what a sweet heart I have!!!

And, while we were at the twins' blessing on the 4th, Amazing Aubry was there with her camera, of course, and she was AWESOME and snapped these of Sawyer- um, hello!!!?? She's fabulous! When I'm less obese, we shall have her capture some recent pics of our family!!! Love her!!! Check her out at http://aubphotography.blogspot.com!!!! You'll want pictures soon, I promise!

"Sweet & Tasty" is what Easton called them at this proud moment!

more underwater fun!

time out for treats!

Last but not least in the catching up category, DARLA came down last weekend and we were able to enjoy her blessed company for the weekend!!!!!! Of course there was a reason she was here- to see Eclipse with the girls!!! It was soooo good! And before hand we hit up 5 GUys of scrumpciousness for dinner. Steph was burgered all out so she opted for a salad from Cafe Rio instead, but we still welcomed her to our table of fat!

We had a garage sale the Saturday morning of that weekend too, and although it wasn't the best ever, it was good! We made some money- which was all we were caring about, and got rid of a corner of our garage!!! GIddy up!!!!! Sawyer's been putting on her own garage sale's in my room ever since....

Last Wednesday at 3 in the A.M. Brent ventured off to his Fly Fishing Frenzy for a week. That means a week of me and my wee ones alone- and that terrifies me because I'm not great at the patience, and besides my patience problem, Sawyer was posessed by some psycho demon the better half of the week...BOTHER!!! But, thanks to friends, we got through it!!!!

We spent alot of our weekend with the Knight clan because we orchestrated that our hub's be gone at the same time so we could have over sleeps' and hang outs to our le-he-zhe-hur.

Starting out our week w/o a father, we spent wednesday night at Whalen's for an outdoor movie night. Kids on the porch, oldies in the front. PIzza included- and who doesn't love crazy bread and $5 pizza at midnight!!?? Anyone????

Thurs. evening we began our sleeping over at Heather's.
I forgot our kids jammers, so they all opted to wear Taylor and Easton's How to Train Your Dragon get up's. They were hilarious!

Sawyer was quick to grab the Wall-E jammies!

Heather and I, however, didn't fit into the kids P.J's so we made our own capes!

We nestled the kids in the basement to watch some Squeakuel, and we bathed ourselves in a So You Think you Can Dance marathon!

The next morning came all too early for Heather and I didn't get to sleep until almost 3 and the kids decided to not sleep in and wake up a little before 8....ayayayayay!!!!! But, whadya do!? Heather did my hair and the kids played Wii and entertained themselves outside for a while.

We decided they deserved a good outing for their good behavior so we were going to go to Pirate Island. Then, I remembered how Sawyer is my daughter and she'd NOT been on her best behavior and so we opted for Wendy's- quick and still their favorite!

After, I PULLED a MARY whist trying to get my demon child into my car! I had already started it, and went to get Sawyer in, but since her plans included getting into Heather's car and driving off, she went over to Heather's car. I turned around to get her and my obese pregnant back side hit my car just hard enough to shut it just perfectly. So, we got to call the police to come unlock it!!! It was wretched hot outside.....and i know, I'm wretched fat.....

the kids tried to keep cool in what little shade they could find next door.

and finally he came and rescued us! "I've never seen a real cop up so close before" the children were screaming- pretty sure it coulda been Christmas!

AFter getting ourselves situated, we took Easton and Taylor home with us to play while Hayleigh and Sawyer napped.
Post naptime, we hit up our pool.
This is Hayleigh's "ohhhhh woahhhh" face. She was a tid bit nervous about not being held on to!
run boys run

Sawyer taking a turn, and Hayleigh pretending!
Conli had the most fun posing for the camera. She asked Heather to take about 10 pictures, but the camera died so we had to pretend! :) What she doesn't know, won't hurt her right-o?

She was always one step ahead of Easton too....hehehehe
and these 2 decided to squeeze themselves into the tube of teensy for some squishy fun!
It was a crazy hot night, but it was super fun. Luckily the kids were so worn out, they went to bed really good!!!! HIGH FIVE!!!
Sunday was a good day. Sawyer actually behaved almost the entire time!!! :) Dinner was good at Mana's that night and dessert was delicious. We celebrated Aunt Karri's birthday - who my kids ADORE and they had fun giving her their cards they made! Monday we pretty much just chilled at home. It was another blazing hot day so I was content to just sit inside with the AC. we did venture out around 4:30 so I could go to the chiropractor (long live Dr. Ned) and then went to Heather's again for dinner and snow cones. DELICIOSO!!!!! Thanks for keeping us company all weekend Heather! we had a ball!!!!
