For one of Max's assignments this year, they were required to do Reflections. I was SO not in the mood, and as we talked things over, he wasn't either. Well, needless to say, when he came home saying that his teacher had them do their projects in class that, I was SO HAPPY!!!! I can't remember the exact theme, but it was something about "together we can." So, Max chose to make a 3D picture called' Together we can build a House."
I just thought it was cute!

At the beginning of November- i think, we scored some tickets to Disney on Ice.
We decided to keep it a secret and when the night finally arrived, and we asked the kids where they wanted to go to dinner, they were satisfied with Red Robin being their surprise!
They're so sweet!!!!

So, when we finally pulled up to Energy Solutions and got out of the car, they were stumped. Max kept saying, we're going to the Jazz! We're going to the Jazz!
Sorry to steal your thunder, bud, but Jazz it ain't.....
Luckily, when we got inside, and he started figuring things out, he yelled, "IT'S DISNEY ON ICE!!!! THIS IS THE BEST NIGHT EVER!!!!!!!"
I mean, who needs Disneyland if we've got Disney on Ice, apparently....

they were in heaven. Max told us about 46 times that we're the best parents ever and it was the best surprise ever. How I love my kids!!!!

just a lil bit o' the magic
Post Best night Ever, the kids were POOP-ED!!! It was a fabulous, magical evening!
Sawyer wanted curls like me another time, and it was so cute she had to have her picture taken! Say Cheese!
As the Christmas present for my mom's work, they gave each of their employees a weekend at the Escala Resort at the Canyons. It was A-Maze-ing!!! We were able to drive up the Saturday they were there and hang out. I did more walking around this day than I had FOREVER, but it was so fun!!!!!
and it was snowing and beautiful! Made me wish I wasn't pregnant, and that we all knew how to ski!!!

The kids loved the fireplace, and kept whipping their shirts up to get all warm. Reminded me of me and my bro when we were little. When we were in the tubby, dad would get the fire going, and as soon as we were done, we'd run our little bummies down the hall as fast as we could to get warm- all necked like!
Here's Mom, Dad & Ky in front of the grand place.
And post shopping, we hit up Micky D's for some fine dining.
Mostly it's been an uneventful 9 wks round these parts. With me being on bed rest, and the kids in school, we haven't been able to do much. I did get sneaky and head up to my parents for Thanksgiving though. No, I didn't ask my Dr. for permission, don't ask, don't tell! He didn't ask....so we went!
The first night we were there was my daddy's bday, so we held some fesitivities for the old man. I LOVED watching Haddie try to blow out the candles....
Don't know what Con was doing here, but love them!
Then cute Auntie Kyli got the idea to have the kids all make turkeys! It was so fun for them!!!
Sawyer thinks this face is the best, it is not, but we can't make her stop doing it!
Ben was less amused at the turkey crafts!
The finished product!
Brent downloaded some "land airplanes, helicopters and jets on a runway and the same time" game on dad's ipad, and we ALL got obsessed.

Thanksgiving brunch is looked forward to all year....
Cheers!
Then Papa started scaring the children...Kamdyn ran to daddy for safety. when the mask of fright made it's first appearance.

Sawyer was NOT A FANBut a cuddle with mommy cheered her right up!

One of the funniest memories I have growing up is my dad ALWAYS chasing us around- it was such a love/hate game, (I am the shadow man) but we always wanted to play. Somehow, Max got Papa to get chasing the kiddies....they were DYING!!!! It was hilarious!!!! Well, until Sawyer really thought her life was in danger, then she was the saddest thing ever!!!!

Max found a safe spot...love dad's scary face bwahahaha!
Sawyer couldn't handle it any more
and finally Conli couldn't decide if she should laugh or cry either.
So the scaring stopped, and Papa tried to make things right....
Bella helped too!
Papa still groveling for forgiveness
and.... a hug!
Thanksgiving dinner was finally upon us!!! Oh the deliciousness!!!!!!!
The perfect, well rounded, bite....and no, Brent doesn't do his hair for Thanksgiving....

The next day, we ventured out to see Tangled, but EVERY freaking movie theater in Cache Valley was sold out for the rest of the day=heartbroken children. Luckily, Mana and Casi didn't mind going to the Fun Park. So, we went there for a couple hours and wore the kiddies out. It was a good replacement.

That night, I was greeted with a surprise when I was going to bed=bloodfest 2010! So, Brent and I got the blessed opportunity to high tail it to the hospital at 1:30 in the a.m. and I got another blessed experience- to stay in said hospital for 2 days!!!!! It was really scary. The bleeding didn't stop for over about 14 hours and they thought they were going to have to deliver the baby there. The dr was fantastic. He showed up at 8 in the morning on Saturday to go to the ultra sound with me and they went over everything. They say she looks about 5 1/2 lbs- which is great, and everything else looked good. Of course they don't know how great her lungs are, but I did get some steroid shots when I got hospitalized at 26 wks, so that should've helped ALOT. But Brent, my dad, my bro and my uncle came over and gave me a blessing and I was started on some contraction controlling meds that helped a TON. How I love being apart of this gospel, and being aware that the priesthood is on this earth, and that i have so many family members that can use it when it's needed.

Well, thankfully, we were able to leave the hospital Sunday afternoon w/o a baby! I was put on strictest bedrest though. It's been hard- i was given "bathroom priviledges" only!!! Do they know me at all??? But really, I'm grateful that there are dr's that can take care of us, and I'm grateful that my sweet baby is still safe and sound. I ended up in the hospital 3ays later for another "episode" too, but all's well. All's well, for now!

When we got home we were welcomed with whiteness! The kids were in heaven and had to go play! Their sweet daddy accompanied them on their first snowventure of the season and got some awesome pictures:
eat that snow con! eat it!
how I love these kiddies!
huge piles of snowy goodness!

angels

and one of the cutest girls!
SUP!?
love Sawyer's straight up g funk face in this one
It was FINALLY time to trim the tree! Lindy had come up and put the tree up for me (bless you friend) and I had promised the girls we'd decorate it that night, but Daddy was in no mood, so we did it the next night. It was great fun!
the ladies of the house!

finished product....Cas has to keep telling me NOT to look at it, because the fact that I had to sit on the couch and watch the tree get put together was almost more than my OCD can handle!!!! It has 1/18 of the lights I usually put on it, and the way things are thrown on there....oh, how I love my kids!!!!!
We had the little Fisher Price Nativity under the tree for a few days, and Sawyer would just lie on her stummy and look at it, now it's in her room where she can play with it to her hearts' content.
So, my apologies for no Christmas card this year. It's making me so sad, but it's just not happening!!!! Maybe we can do a Happy Spring card, or even Happy New Years, and have this bed ridden stuff behind us!?

My AWESOME friend Wendy, threw me a "necessities" baby shower on Thursday. It was SOOOO fabulous to hang with my gals, eat lots of treats, and talk. How I love each and every one of them!!!! Thank you so much for coming and making me feel like my old self again!!!!
That night was perfect!!!
