My brother in law Ben has a buddy that works for REAL, so he got us tickets for the game against the LA Galaxie----loved it, but I didn't see Posh, or Beckham, so that kind of ruined the night- JUST KIDDING!!!!! WE LOVED IT!!!!!
Max was cheering and yelling and whoopin' just like everyone else.
(and notice, if you will, the girl behind Max in the picture where he's doing thumbs up...I want it- I know, I know, I haven't had long hair for about 10 years, but this growing out thing is KILLING me!!!! Anywho, in time, it will be mine)
Cheers

Oh yes, it's Ladies Night!!!!!

Friday night, thanks to the bee-you-tee-ful Summer, a bunch of us girly's got together for a SLEEPOVER!!!! (perfect timing for me by the way =THANK YOU!!!!!)

Summer, Jess, Angie, Kristen, Wendy, Jenny, Meaja, Erin, Stephanie:

I SALUTE YOU!!!!!

It was SOOOOO fun!!!!

-PLAY BY PLAY OF EVENTS-

Firstly we endured the drive up to SLC at rush hour- which is always super fun! Poor Summer, Kristen and Wendy actually got in a car accident-- not the greatest beginning to a girls night, but everything was ok, the damage was minimal, and our girls pushed through and made it safe and sound to the RED IGUANA -which, by the way, is in, what I like to refer to as Salt Lake's "ghetto" where weirdo's hang out, crouched down, beside ICE CHESTS, taking a peek every few moments while you sit in your car, door's locked, hoping for your friends safety as they leave the Maverick- that's another story though!

Red Iguana was DELICIOSO!!!!

From there we took the scenic route- thanks to my marvelous navigation system- to the Marriott to unpack and decide the agenda for the night. It was then decided that half would go a la shopping at Gateway and that me, summer, Wendy and Jessica would go to the "ot tub" and eat spiced meats! (which isn't true- the spiced meats part, but for everyone who loves a good SNL with Will Ferrell, you get what I'm sayin!)

Anywho, the hot tub was very enjoyable, the floater and all!

(At this point of the night, we lost Erin, Stephanie and Angie- so sad, too bad!)

From there we all met up to go get ice cream at Leatherby's - which, thanks to Jessica's wonderful understanding of SLC took an extra 20 minutes wink wink- but after sitting there for 20 minutes without so much as a hello from ANY worker, we took off and opted for Maverick instead- where we encountered creepy ice box homeless drug dealer rapist man.

All soda'ed up, jammies in tow, we headed back to the hotel for a night of the chit chat- our specialty- and let's see, feet/hand waxing, eye brow plucking, make-up applying fun!!!!

Thank you Kristen and Meaja for beautifying us all.

When we finally realized what time it was (that equals 2:30), we figured we should be responsible and go to bed so that our mom's wouldn't ban us from ever having a sleepover again because we came home onery and tired.

It was a great plan, but for some reason Summer and I couldn't get to sleep- it's over rated anyhow. And we chatted until 5:04 A.M. What were we thinking!!!! Summer, I love you!!!!!

All girls but Summer, Meaja and I stayed later in the morning. Well, let's be honest, we didn't wake up until 11- so blessed!

And it was off to Village Inn, then Gateway, then home- so sad- with a stop by Dear Lizzie's- because we hadn't eaten enough food that day-----but I must say- Not impressed by the cup cakes- they're cold, and the frosting is not on my team!!! (just F.Y.I)

Well it was a FABULOUS time, just a bit too short!
and for all those who couldn't or wouldn't come- shame on you, and we MISSED YOU!!!!

Thanks Summer for providing the plan and the rest of you for showing up. For those of you I didn't really know before, it was awesome to meet you- don't think I'm too crazy please!!!

loves, lisa
