Turkey Lurkey Goo and a Turkey Lurkey Gickle

For Wendy's bday, she requested a "day of shopping" and then I added on dinner and a movie for good measure  :)
We hit up many boutiques in our lil neck of the woods, then we grabbed a most delectable burger at Mimi's- seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had!!! It was delicious!
Then we met up with these cuties to go see the last installment of Twilight.
It was a very very fun day!!!
Finley has discovered the Lady and the Tramp style of eating her ramen....she lubs it...

Moving right along.....
We got to go to my parents for Thanksgiving again this year. It's kind of a "must do" on our list :)

Right when we got there, we met the family and Ben's side of the fam at Chuck-A-Rama for Hadley's bday dinner of choice.

Kara and I made an attempt to make the other sisters jealous (heheheh)
Just eating to our stummy's content
Cute little bestie cousins

Love me my Mama

Dad and I still found time to dance
./
Cute birthday girl and her Papa
And perhaps I found an avocado in my purse that night....you never know when they might come in handy I tell ya!

The next day was feast day.
We had many preparations to prepare!
On our down time, Kyli and I played a very maddening game of Rummikub. She doesn't appreciate others skills at this game!

Oh the delicious pie crust. I was the bomb at the pies this year....no problem!

 Brent the bomber
Me and my Daddy. Love him eternally.
Kyli and I made rolls....and made Tate jealous by sending numerous pictures of preparations all day.

Sawyer has turned into quite the lil artist these days. I can't stand how cute her drawrings are!  :)  This one is a favorite!
The girls are annoyingly obsessed with this game every time we're up here.

Max and daddy put in a lil time playing some chess and checkers.
Finley put in a lot of time playing with Uncle Jess. Every child adores him. Anyone want a wonderful hubby??? I've got an available, adorable little brother!!!!???

 7 Layer Dip
Stickers in the windows supply hours of fun!

 oh max....that face....
 shrimp.....gross....

 some mid afternoon eats

I told Max I was going to make him try an egg
 Soooo disappointed....
 the spread
this one has a little problem that includes taking pictures of herself all.day.
Showcasing his child skills. Seriously he loves them, and they adore him.

oh weird, another picture of Kyli and Jasmine!
Dad was trying to go incognito....this picture makes me laugh the most.
oh Papa, where art thou?

Love these beautiful sisters of mine!
 Especially when they fight.
 Dinner is served!

It was delicious. As usual. Every part of it.

Afterwards, we somehow got on this "scare the children" kick.
Finley was not amused..... She gasped and held her hands over her mouth every time Papa, or even the mask alone, would show up!

I mean can you blame her??? It's the most disgusting thing ever. Even right now, she's sitting on my lap whimpering saying  "uhhhh the mak"

Max had been downstairs reading when the "mak" came out, so dad ran down and scared him to death!
It was hilarious

Kara and her delicious Dallin

 Thankful for this bearded guy
The next day, we really just hung out. Didn't do much, just mozied around. It was a good, chill, day.

The girls did get to go to Haddy's bday party this day. They were sooooo excited! They had a blast. Kara doesn't disappoint!

Aunt Tonette came up to play this day too.  She was soooo cute.  Finley had a ball playing chase with her.
She even babysat for me for a bit! Bless her Auntie heart. I love her. I'm so glad she came up!

Oh Tank and Taz.....kyli's doggies.....they get so smothered when we are here.

 weird.....

 mid gobble of some pie
 sisters share!

trying to bomb her and make her stop.
 didn't work.

these old women played pinochle non stop.
 Jess the jungle gym

and the crazy hair it makes.

Crazy Conli

On Saturday, I'd had enough of the house arrest I'd been on so we loaded everyone up and headed to Preston for the Christmas parade of lights! It was dad's bday, but he was ok with it.
Quite chilly.....
luckily mana had enough hats and gloves to go around!

that's different than usual- sawyer mad, and crying....
Mana, Tonette and Conli enjoying dinner.
 oh mommy!
Her glasses aren't supposed to be pink you know!
cold lovies

The kids had a blast running around with Misty and playing in the cold until the parade started.

and giving me bunny ears...surprise!
Kara and Haddy joined us too!
Even the old men showed up!
Dad, Scott, Lonnie
Max is always making sure Finley is happy
Such a sweet boy
Love Haddy
.Man talk.
And this, my friends, is how Preston does a Christmas Parade.
Finny loved it!

These 2 couldn't get close enough

It was short, and sweet, but cute.
And afterwards, the fireworks.
They came so quickly that we didn't have time to warn Sawyer and she had a bit of a spaz out. But it turned out ok.

These ladies started singing christmas carols when all was said and done!

I was quite impressed. I do love me a good fireworks show, and these did not disappoint! It was fun!

Afterwards, we went over to Lonnie and Germaine's for some hot cocoa and cake for Dad's bday!
Dad led us while we sang to him our sweet birthday tunes

then he tried to spit his dinner out all over the cake....bad form Papa.

Mana and Dallin

Babies playing on floors

Germaine, Tonette and Mama. Love this picture.
and I love mom's sweatshirt tied around her neck....what?

Me and my BEAUTIFUL  Kyli after church donning our sundee best!

I always love being with my family.
I'm thankful they're mine.
Even with all our drama.
We are drama.
Comes with the territory.
But how I love them all.
I missed every one of you that couldn't be here with us.
