I was lucky to go on Max's field trip to this fun lil place. I loved going and spending time with him and I only had 3 boys to keep track of so it was easy peasy. He was a sweet heart and kept thanking me for coming the whole time. I'm so glad I was able to go cuz the week after, I got stuck on "modified bed rest" for the rest of this pregnancy and had to bow out of his class parties and everything and it bummed us out pretty bad, so I'm grateful we had the farm!

he couldn't believe he was petting a piggy!

At the start of the corn maze. They were so pumped!

I made them break the rules-shhh don't tell- and jump in the stalks for a second for a picture, they were a little uneasy, but it worked-and no one saw us!

Slide o' fun!
And are you kidding me with the blessed weather we were having this week of UEA???? Oh i was in heaven! Too bad it went away, but joyous days while it lasted! We were able to park it up with some of our fabulous friends the days it was a'shinin!

I had the idea to take the kids ice blocking the next park afternoon, and it was awesome. They had a blast once they figured out how to do it! We had to help for a bit, but once the ice got melted a little, it was fantastic!

of course Sawyer had to have a slight melt down because hers started stalling....oh the drama....
but after i kick started her a couple times she was fine and dandy

Sawyer finally got if figured out, had plenty of runs and had a blast!!!
They tuckered out after about 1/2 hour from lugging those things back up the hill- twas a workout!!! But they had so much fun!

Friday night, we ventured up the canyon- with the rest of the state, it seemed- to fire! Luckily there were a couple spots we found still free, so we jumped on that and got to roastin'. Gunn's and Whalens came with and it was fun! It's so lame how it gets dark so early now- i really don't like it at all. Plus, it makes it seem like it's 11 at night when really it's only 7- or maybe that's cuz I'm prego, either way- boo!!! But it was fun, and good food, and good comp'ny!

Soy's a bit obsessed with her Par-is

Cute friends

These 2 were making crazy juice messes, and after Bubba got it all over Soy's hand, he was a gentleman and cleaned it off on his shirt for her.

Con couldn't stand the smoke

I don't know if I've mentioned it here before, but Sawyer's become COMPLETELY terrified of the wind. One day she's letting blow through her hair driving down the road, the next day, we can't pry her away from the windows- even after closing the blinds- at Mana's while she watches the wind "blow the trees down". I don't know where it came from, but it's INSANE. I mean, I felt bad for like, the first 20 minutes, but after that, it's just too much! If it starts blowing just the teensiest little bit, she has a complete come apart and starts begging to go inside. She can't.handle.it. It's completely crazy!!!! And this night up the canyon, it just became too much for her!!! So we had to call it quits early! thanks for a fun night though folks!

Saturday morning we drove down to hang out at the cabing with mom, and the Tolmans. We thought we'd be closing up the cabin while we were down too, but something uber important was forgotten so it didn't happen- oh wells! At least we had a fun, chill afternoon down in the pretty wilderness!

and here's the family pic from this year!
