Blog of Jumbled goodness coming up!

Let us begin at New Years Eve:
The Riverwoods did a "NOON YEARS EVE" so we thought we'd check it out
It was not the best thing ever
It was INSANELY crowded, and there were like 2 things to do for kids.
I stood in line for the kids to get their faces painted for almost an hour. It was ridiculous.
But, the kids seemed to have fun.
And nothing's better than meeting some of your very best friends on the whole earth there too!

Max & Tay showing their great winnings.
no idea who the chick is on their tags-probably some Disney star.
 Sporting their cutest painted cheekies
Ellie, Sawyer & Conli and their Rudolphs
And nothing screams Happy New Year like Jack Skellington!
at noon. They let some balloons drop. There were SO many people in there it was claustrophobic. We were dying. As soon as the kids got balloons, we were outta there. And we found solace in Red Robin fries and stuff :)
That night, we laid low. Sum & Justin came over for a while and we played some mad games of Sequence. Then we rocked Just Dance until we all had tacos :)
That game is my very favorite!

The girls (conli) have been begging for a girls night for DAYS. So, we finally took the opportunity to play.
They always choose Texas Roadhouse for dinner- because apparently their mac & cheese is divine there?
and we tried to get a good pic, but this was the best our server could do.

After dinner we went to watch Chatfields' darling girls in their dance recital of the Labirynth. My kids LOVED it. And it was fun to go with Jessica, Lily & Ella too.
They haven't stopped talking about taking dance since....
oh these girlies. They are my joy and my hurdle in life :) Such drama. But such fun.
I can't wait until we get older and get to go on mommy/daughter get aways. I pray we can be best friends always.

Max was feeling a bit neglected on the mama time (which I love because he always opts for nights out with dad, and he really wanted to go with me and I was in heaven)
Twas time to finally get my boy on a date night.

He planned our night out as follows:
1- IHOP
2- mini golf at the glow in the dark course
3- Movie

We made it to IHOP early in the evening. He wanted an all nighter.
The food was disgusting- although he loved his pancakes.
And he scored this AWESOME Rondo balloon man.
The creator had MAD skills!

post dinner, straight to glow in the dark mini golf
we had just enough time to play one round. He schooled me.
Afterwards, we went to see Hugo. I was super afraid he'd get crazy bored and want to go home, but he loved it. It was a great movie. I really enjoyed it. And the time with my little boy=priceless. He has the sweetest heart ever. He is such a good boy, with such good desires. We are so blessed to have him as ours.

oh here's a good one:
Sawyer gave me a black eye 2 wks ago.
Just trying to be a good mom and spend some time playing Wii bowling with my daughter....
she FREAKED out when I offered to help her and right as I'd swung the control to bowl, she whacked my hand out of the way. Meanwhile, my control, that was on my wrist, but not being paid attention to, flew up and smacked me in the eye....
oh the pain...
and the anger...
I took a deep breath, and just let it go....oh the tears!!!
I knew I'd laugh later, but I was so mad at her!
Not to mention it hurt like none other!!!
She thought I was playing around until it started bleeding kinda bad....then she got sad.
But we worked it out.
I didn't mind having a black eye, but couldn't I have gotten it during a soccer game or something???

Sometimes I put Finley in the sink so she will leave me be whilst I do my hair
She is hilarious....look at the face.
I think Brent described it best when he commented on it on Facebook with "gross"
HAHAHA!
Love her though. She will NOT lie down and drink her bottle anymore. Thinks she's way too cool...so it takes twice as long and gets leaked all over the floor while she plays with it.
just a moment we were having.

she has mastered the art of the straw too. It's so cute- her itty bitty hands on my big mug. I love her

Came home from meetings last Sunday to a living room full of "chair tables." Kids love doing this. Who needs TV trays when we have chair tables???

Sawyer got ahold of my phone

and I had a jolly old time practicing my double unders one day....this was the best looking part. My legs were sooooo eaten up! Good times!

I refinished one of our magnet boards to be a bow holder. I love how it turned out!
Jena donated the fabric, Kyli donated the chicken wire, and I had the board. We also had the little hanger thing on the bottom from Brent's grandpa I think...it's been sitting around for years.
(i take a little while to get warmed up to projects ok!)

trying to get Fin & Tais to focus on the camera....didn't work too well, but I love these babies.

phone quality foto. I love these kiddos.

Date night with Sum & Justin at Watermoon....we possibly licked the platter clean. The server knows Brent because he goes there all the time and was a little worried that we weren't going to be able to finish all the stuff we ordered! Little did she know who she was dealing with!!! MMM MMMM MMM!!!
This is the funniest picture I've ever seen....Casi Bieber.....
Alec got to come play last month one day.
These 2 are a match made in heaven. I love them
 just my baby girl
 more sawyer fun
Max started Junior Jazz- loves it more than anything. He's a great defender and he loves playing defense. He's struggling a little bit this year with sportsmanship, but we're working on it. The kid's just sooo passionate and get soooo involved in everything. I love watching him play.

A couple wks ago, I threw a rib out at the gym, and ended up turning to a friend who magically enough, makes house calls to do adjustments. I was in dire need, and he saved me. Max was watching it all go down, and wanted a turn, so Mike threw him on the table and popped his back. He was laughing so hard. He loved it every bit.  He asked if we can have Mike come over every game day and put his back back in place....why sure my NBA playing son, why wouldn't you have your own personal chiropractor for those rough game days??? :)

A day of fun watching Max

Fin loves to play under the computer desk when I'm on it.
It's her favorite play place.
seriously. why buy toys ever?

Casi & Kyli had the genius idea to throw Jena & Kara a mustachtic baby shower this month since they're both due in the next couple months!!!!!! YAY FOR BOYS!!!!!!
I hitched a ride to Smithfield  with Jena, Derek & kiddos. My fam got left at home for a lil sisters wknd for me and my sissies!!! It was a fun wknd.!

check the cutest diaper motorcycle my sisters made!!!
there were 2 of them and 2 darling diaper cakes, but somehow I missed those...
these are funny cuz it's exactly how we interact when together: there were never such devoted sisters.....

we finally get in for a good one
jena may disown me for this now, but she'll thank me later- i do believe :)

Jena and some of her dearest friends from way back
Haddie and Kam had a BLAST opening all the presents

Cute boy things were everywhere!!!

One of my fave moments of the weekend came from my Haddie. When Kara & Ben used to live down here, we got to spend mucho time with them. But Hadley wasn't very big. I loved being close to her and watching her. Well, she showed me some love on Saturday and asked me to sit with her while she ate her candy.  I loved it so much. I love her so much and I'm so sad I don't live close to any of my side of the family's kids. I hope they know how much I love them!
Saturday night we dubbed Girls Night and got Papa to watch Taisyn!!!!! Monica and Krista joined us for some deliciousness at Olive Garden. It was so fun!!!!! We laughed, and pigged out. I love these women so much and am so grateful that amidst the drama they are mine.

the wknd flew by, but it was glorious. I was able to stay up until 2 a.m. Friday night with Dad, Jena, Derek and Jess for a late night talk. How I love those. I could've stayed up forever, but knew I'd regret it in the morn, so we called it a night. I love gospel talks with my dad, and my family. They soothe my soul.

Saturday was spent getting stuff set up for the shower- of which, lots of our planned things didn't happen, but it was still ok!! Thanks Cas & Kyli for all your help!

Sunday was wonderful- church w/o any kids/distraction. I love my parents ward. There are people there that have touched my life/heart and I love seeing them.

Jess drove me half way home late Sunday afternoon so I could be home for Monday.  We headed straight to Mana's for dinner and...oh ya, the superbowl.
We had a chill night, but Brent and Max thoroughly enjoyed the game and the rest of us loved half time
love those boys of mine!
