This Week in the life of a Ramey.......

Well, Brent finally decided to grace us with his presence and returned home Monday night! YEAH FOR DADDY!!!!! We miss him so much when he's gone! And even though I didn't give him the hip hip hooray he wanted when I woke up the next morning, I was INSANELY HAPPY to see his face when I woke up! He's so helpful, loving, hard working, patient, fun, etc etc etc...that I can't help but smile when I think about him. Thanks honey, for everything you do!

thursday night we got to get together with Brent's one and only cousin on his dad's side- Jen, and her cute family. They're great- I wish they lived closer. Max had a blast playing with his cousin Ben, and we loved visiting! Grandma Joan had to get a picture of all her great grandchildren, and then I decided we needed a picture of all normal first grandchildren- we were missing Pat, but he was there in spirit :)

on Friday afternoon, Brent and I headed south for our much anticipated trip to Vegas/St. George. Like we haven't had a trip this month without our kids already, but my parents came and packed up our children and we went to St. George kidless!!!!!! Oh, how I love my kiddies, but trips are not for them- just over 15's! Family rule #16!

just so you're forewarned- we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner Friday with Kara, Ben, Casi, Kyli and my Grandpa. I love him so much-

but be warned, he's not your typical happy -go- lucky kind of grandpa.

oh, and he didn't want me to take his picture but i did, two twice ( as Conli says)

We slept that night at Sean and Summer's house- thanks friends!TLA- and headed out to Vegas the next morning to stay with some of our best friends Ty and Kacee and their 3 scrumptious girls. We haven't been down to their house forever and it was time. It was SO fun- short, but FUN!!!! we got there and decided to go swimming.....

Then, we sent the girlies to a sitter and met up with Cody and Ivy for dinner at Cheesecake Factory- oh the yummiest! Cody, Brent and Ty have been best friends since the womb, and it was SOOOOOOO fun to all be together again. Lucky for them, us women folk get along right nice! Love you all!!! After dinner we headed for some shopping. There's this AWESOME good outdoor mall that we hit up. I haven't laughed so hard in a while. Pretty sure one, or all of those boys peed their pantalones!

Sunday, after sleeping in til TEN- oh the heaven- we went to church, which was great, and then we grilled up some hamburgers for din din. THANKS FRIENDS!!!!!

We left from Vegas Sunday night and slept at Whalen's again, then we left for home Monday morning. We got our kids, thanks to uncle Jess, and then went to eat at Dave and Michelle's- it was DELICIOUS!! What a FABULOUS weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
