*8-04-2014* Goodbye's at the Museum

For our last hoorah with Hunters' we hit up the Museum of Curiosity for FHE Monday night.
Look at these kids. Who'da thunk 12 years ago when it was just little Max and Layni drooling all over the place that it would end up like this! How crazy!!!!
Henli, Sawyer, Con, Max, Fin, Layni, Luke, Claire, Jenny
 Floating heads=always a hit!
Me and Hen locked in the bank

there's an awesome ropes' course up above the museum and the kids wanted to play. Well, apparently you have to have shoes on - not flip flops and Max only had on flops. Well, someone was smart and realized he could wear my shoes- and being the awesome boy he is, he dropped his pride and slid them on! It was hilarious- and I also couldn't believe that he could fit into my shoes!!! What on earth!!!

Swapped shoezles.

When we were switching shoes back, Brent kept yelling, "Look at this boy, wearing his mothers' shoes"- it was hilarious, and our boy is a good sport.
And off they went. They were WAY up there. I was surprised at how high it was. Coolest place!

Meanwhile, the littles stayed down in the rainforest. Finley tried to follow the bigger kids up the bridge and got terrified and I had to climb up the kid infested land o' nooks and crannies to bring her back down.

Mamas

the men got into the water works room.

The little rainboots are my favorite.

 wind tunnel!!!!!
Post playing, we hit up Smashburger for some din din . Cody said it's better when you don't have your kids there, but it was still ok :)

We are seriously going to miss them so much. I hate that they're leaving, but now we just have yet another reason to head to George in our cold parts.
and this: Smith's has these cute little carts that are of the devil. Sure, the kids love them, but my ankles and time restrictions don't. However, the girls sure looked cute with them!

*8-01* Aubergine, *8-02* Smore's and *8-03-2014* Sparklers

Well, we kept hearing about this wondermous place called Aubergine and Co. so we gathered a few of our faves and hit it up for lunch one fine day.

It was good. They were correct.
Everything is made to order and fresh as fresh can be.
We all got salads. Summer's won for best taste-but they were all good.
We also got free cheese bread things and a free acai bowl.
Nutritious and delicious.

.Ang, Kristen, Sum, Mej, me and baby Sophie, and Brit.
Girls have been playing soccer this season. Sawyer really wants to do gymnastics. Can you tell?
Sawyer does soccer:
I love it.
The stupid thing is how this is the last weekend we have with our beloved Hunters' before they move to the far away land of George. I'm so mad about this still. We love these people. We met at a little park in Eagle Mountain and then took all the kiddos to Cody's brothers house and the adults went to dinner while the kids did whatever their hearts' desired :)
Ivy had to get pics with each of us :)

Our cute littles contemplating life without eachother....ok they weren't- but it was cute anywho.

 Dinner+Cubby's=holy numminess

After dinner we met back up with the children and made smore's and hung out in the backyard for hourse telling stories about the dad's in high school.
It was the sweetest thing.
These kids LOVED hearing stories about their dads' and kept asking for more.
I loved watching it.
So fun for them to have their dads' and dads friends' there together laughing our guts off.

A marshmallow dropped into the fire pit and Marlee and Sawyer got a little nervous.

 Chow down Ivy!
 Big kids on a trampoline
And the cool ambiance set by the cutest lights in the yard. Good job Beck!
Mana's house on Sunday evenings is always fun for these cousins. This day, Sawyer was teaching the littles in her tent! It was quite the obstacle to get up there and make it stay.
Then it was sparkler time.

Love these people and they're excitement for all things. They are the best!
