I'll start this out by saying this was 10 days of F.U.N.
I know, I probably took more pictures than ever- but c'mon, it wouldn't be my blog w/0 4,100 pictures right???
good times, my friends.
good times!
on with the show:
Happy April Fools!!!
Our cutest neighbors brought this by on April Fools- along with the most delicious salad we've ever encountered- i'm serious! This was mini food- made out of tootsie rolls/caramel, white chocolate and m&m's...cutest stuff I ever ate!!!

Summer got smart this year and brought along a megaphone to announce the start of the annual friends easter egg hunt. It's craziness I tell you....there are a lot of people joining us on this day! Even with it being FRIGID, there were mad amounts of people! We love our holidays people!
one minor problem- the funny megaphone wasn't very loud- danget!
i tried to be a siren too, but I didn't help much either.

if Conli could, she would have a butterfly on her face at all times.

HAPPY EASTER!!!!

huntin for some eggos!

Sawyer loves her Emmie

Cute Bubba

Belle, Heidi, Steph and Phoenix. Just chillin in the warmth- I mean really, where is the warmth??? I'm super sick of Sprinter!!!!

love them

and conli loves to just decorate cookies- not eat them- just sprinkle the dickens out of them!

Sawyer could NOT get enough of the bunny. After crying for 20 minutes, and not letting me put her down- I kid you not- she finally saw that her friends were taking pictures and hugging the pink thing and followed it around for the next hour. Right. by. its.side. For this, I apologize Miss Bunny.

CHEESE!!!!

painted cutie pies

diggin in on the way home. Yes, i took this while driving, and yes I kept my eyes on the road.

Friday night was a big surprise party for heather's 30th bday. It was awesome. Here we are all cramming in the bathroom putting on the final touches.
Here's the bday girl- who thought none of her friends were going to anything for her big day- little did she know! and, apparently when she gets surprised, she goes a bit cross eyed...heheheh

I'd like to thank Steph for my 80's duds. They worked out perfectly.
I almost felt like Alyssa Milano in her workout video that Janet & I used to rock in her basement back in the day!

I made Brent wear these for a minute. Boy was not in the mood to dress up- such a poor sport.

the ladies!
Tiff, Heather, Mary, Me, Janet, Merideth, and Kilee

Birthday girl and her miami man

all the players- Mary, Janet, Heather, Moi, Summer, Sheree, Tiff and Amy

of course we always have to play "olan mills"

"framing" heather

what does that spell?
3-0!!!
I know....we've got problems...but it was funny

beautiful wreath as our backdrop

like totally freak me out I mean right on!

jellies, and leg warmes, and heels, oh my!

the set up. It was so cute. They had the best treats and cake!!!! These Garners/Knights always know how to throw a party! It was so radical!

berfday candles

stellar glasses ladies

We were glad Summer and Billy Idol finally showed up.
Surprise!!! :)

80's pyramid

all those not afraid of the dress ups!
post dinner, we got our twister on. Well, me, heather & Mary weren't too cool to play. As long as the boys steered clear from the rearward side that is
-garments may have appeared from beneath some skirts-

Kelly caught in a leg warmer sandwich

Playdough Pictionary- those boys...always turning everything into genitalia.....

when everyone started clearing out we had ourselves a little dance party- there may or may not have been music playing.

end of the night jumps for joy!!!
I love us.

YAHOO FOR HEATHER!

at the end of the night, I remembered that we had to run to the store to get Easter for our kids. Brent was not on team 80's that night, and not impressed with going to the store- where real people were- with me dressed like that. Luckily, my boy Don Johnson lent me his sah-weet jacket to cover the duds. Brent kept a good distance from me while at the store- whatever honey- where is the love and support????

We couldn't hardly get them to eat dinner with them knowing what was awaiting outside. They wanted that back yard so bad!

cutest little ladies!

the best picture of the cousins. it's never a perfect picture, but we'll take what we can get for now!

Sweet Soy

A glimpse of the eggies.

huntin'

She got one of her own- finally! She was awesome at picking up everyone else's and handing them out. Half the lawn was gone and she'd not picked up one of her own yet...such a sweetie

ma'girls!

Conli discovered a pink one and ran for it---she passed like 12 on the way to the top...such a girl

here they are handing out others' to them again...it was so cute!

la loot

sweet Mara

Sawyer & Karri

Happy Easter to Karri!

We love Mana!

Max stoked to get his goods sorted out! He knew there was money hidden in them eggs!

Familia Tolman diggin in!

let the sorting begin!

Grandma Joan was generous!

Mana made each of the kids "treasure boxes" and placed her treasure inside- a picture of Christ. It was sweet, and they love them!

Con's sorting process

Proud parenting moment:
Sawyer shook each egg before opening it, and if it didn't sound like money, she'd groan and throw it back in the bag....oh bother! Greedy much!!!???

cute bunny

Loves for grandma

After we got home that night, I pulled out Max's tooth. It had been hanging literally by one root all day, and was bugging the crud out of him. I had him lie down and said, ok, I'm gonna count to 3 and pull this sucka out! I said one....and pulled it out. two....then he started whimpering. three...and held it up and told him I pulled it out on one. Oh the tricks I have! He was super impressed! And then he realized that we knew he was faking that it hurt so bad and decided to just shrug it off like he was kidding! I love this kid!

Since the kids got uber lucky at the easter egg hunt and officially have more money than their mom now, they wanted to go swimming with some of their earnings! Too bad it was spring break and the rest of the county had the same idea...either way, they loved it and that makes it worth it! And since it was spring break, we got to have friends come along!!!

Here are my sweetnesses before Sawyer had a 10 minute melt down about this area of the pool. She was screaming bloody murder and there was nothing I could do to get her off the chair she'd perched herself upon in pure fright...poor dear....finally, I talked her down and she relaxed and was able to enjoy herself.

She was terrified to go down this slide. Tried her darndest to stop herself- but didn't succeed. Luckily, she ended up loving it and went down tons!

Talitha, Con, Taylor and Max
ready to go!

such cute girlies

Taylor joined Max for some fun down the giant green slide. Max was so glad to have a buddy to join him!

twinners- Hayleigh and Soy

Sawyer loves playing with anyone's hair. and I willingly let her wash mine in the pool- it was way clean- and not crowded at all :)

slide train!

jess & I were apparently in deep conversation! WHAT???

And Sawyer loved making random women swing her...and I let them cuz I'm lazy like that

pretty much any time these 2 are in the same vicinity, they're going to be connected some how....such lil lovebirds....they're so cute!

goggles rule

Max thought he was super funny playing in the hamper and wanted a picture taken, so of course, I obliged!

Wednesday night Summer had this fabulous idea to have a mother/daughter night out. I was so excited, and Conli couldn't wait. She even wanted to wear a dress for our big date. It was soooo fun!!! Thanks for planning it Sum!!!!

Mana got the all the granddaughters and her these white jean jackets for Easter and Brent was loving them sitting on the curb...so he took the opportunity for a quick photo op.

then I got in the middle of a lil white jacket sandwich

We headed over to Happy Sumo to meet up with the other ladies, stopping beforehand to spend a whopping $4 on dinner for these 2 picky pantses....wendy's- you always have my back!

As soon as our lady friends arrived, we ordered up some fun for the night!
Conli, Brynn, Summer, Sabra, Talitha, Heidi & Belle.

it's either a crazy face, or dead seriousness with this girl

luckily, the place wasn't too crowded, cuz I'm pretty sure Sawyer would've driven everyone cah-razy. Here she was drummin for the chefs.

and here she was capturing Belle's dance moves

After dinner, these 3 linked elbows and never let go!

"Girls! Wait! Girls! gggg...Wait!!!!

After dinner, we headed off to grab some sweets at a cute lil cupcake shop!
Brynn likes treats the best!

Conli picked out chocolate and vanilla....and ate the cake, but not the frosting...she is so not my child!

Sawyer chose 4 salt water taffy's!?

Mostly I like Conli in this picture- always trying to find a way to pose

posin on the bench

then it was time to play SKIP....TO THA'BEAT...

Con & Talitha being cuties

Of course Sawyer had to play

And Lils!

Cute mama's

skip...to the ground....poor lil beat up elbows. Conli's not the most skilled walker- her elbows have taken a turn for the worst in the last week of outside play

Then it was off to the 'otel!!!! Sawyer ran inside and immediately started jumping on the beds. Good times goofball 'r' us

such a freakin' ham

pretending to sleep was her next adventure

then it was Sawyer's all time favorite moment. I let her apply her own make up. And not only apply it, but pick out whatever color she wanted- which of course, is what I like to call "black eye purple".....observe:

such determination

see what I mean.....don't mind the zombie face- which will appear in photos to come.

Highlight of the night- the "alligator ride"

down to the bottom floor to swim- all by themselve- in the indoor pool! They were soooo excited!
Brynn, Belle, Lily, Sawyer, Ella, Talitha

hugs in the hot tub- they were so stoked to be swimming- inside (I guess the indoor pool the day before wasn't cool enough!) Pay close attention to Belle in the background- she pretty much licked the hot tub all night.....yowza!

can't let a swimming event go by w/0 a couple good underwater shots!

jumps for the hot tub!

We were the "dry mothers" that night. Sorry kids- love ya, but no swimming tonight!

more death eye

the fun of the hot tub!

tweetie pie!

Cute Jess & Ella

Jumping in the cold pool

After we'd had enough of the pool, we gathered the wee ones to return to the hotel room for some glammin up. Belle felt the need to run through the halls a bit buck for a minute- that child is the funniest ever!

Brynn was in charge of the elevator

And then Sawyer felt the need for speed. Lucky for all involved, she kept her tooshie covered. But notice the arm- it's in full effect when she runs- and it is quite the motor!

Rinsing off in the tubby!

Post jammies, we got our girly on! Here are Liliy and Brynn make-upping

Make Up station

just hangin

Sawyer post mascara- holy eyelashes!!!

Getting tootsies soaked and pedied

such beauty

Conli would only let Sab do her toes

Belly's turn

mine and sawyer's twinner "sparklies gween"

the set up
tight quarters=wonderful times

Conli wanted to apply her own sparklies to her nails and since it was her night, I obliged.

Summer beautified (?) her face

And the girls cozied up for a movie

GIRLS NIGHT!!!!

It was so fun, and so awesome to just hang out with my girlies! thanks again you guys for the memories!
Who'da thunk all we needed was some piles of sod to keep these kids happy for about 2 hours!?
we went to the park friday and they didn't really touch it- only played on these. it was freezing p.s. but they needed to play!
i love all the poses, but mostly conli and easton's...tehe....

she kept saying, Easton! Save me! and he'd always come to her rescue. She even made it known that she was cold and the sweet boy ripped off his coat and laid it over her....oh these guys....

it was SUCH a fun spring break! I was pleasantly surprised. Max was such a helper, and such a good brother. The kids were able to have fun, and I loved it! thanks all, for playing!!!
