So, Monday before the girls trip, we got a call from dad about how Kyli was maybe coming home early. She was scheduled to come home July 22 and that's what we'd all been planning on and could not wait. But apparently, ever since her surgery in January, she just was struggling with her health and feeling well enough to be able to put in a full days' work and she was sick all the time. So, she had a dr's appt scheduled that day where they were going to scope her stomach and try to figure out what was going on.
We had a family fast the next day and she was able to get the results back from her scope. Since she got her gall bladder taken out, her stomach was creating a lot of acid and not getting rid of it like it should. So, she was dealing with that constantly, but also had gotten IBS and was starting to have anxiety attacks which they said wouldn't stop without less stress which wasn't happening.
Well, long story short, Kyli discussed these concerns she was having with the Lord, her mission president, mom and dad, and came to the conclusion that she'd put in her time. That even though she wasn't out the full 18 months, she had done what she'd gone to do and leaving now would be completely honorable and in her best interest to get her health back in order. So, SURPRISE!!!! Kyli was coming home the following Monday.
Kyli loves rainbows and tie dye, so I made some signs before I left for the wknd, and the Smithfield people made tie dyed shirts for the whole family. Other posters were made too. It was super exciting! I was SOOOO anxious to see her.
When we were in St. George, it was Mothers Day so Sabra was able to face time her family as Dennis called home. It was sweet, but I couldn't believe that in just one day, I would be holding my sister in my real life arms!!!!!
So, Monday. It was finally here. And we were so excited!!!!! Turns out no one told us that she was landing a little early, so luckily, we were there a little early. Then it took forever, but it was fine. We just hung out all antsy for a LONG time.
Christopher and Jess.
Can you tell Mama was a wee bit excited! She just teared up constantly! It was the best!
Here's everyone all lined up with all the signs!
Tate had this one on his stroller. So cute.
My pinterest interest poster
Jaz held this'n
And my kiddos all made her some too.
Of course I had to pictures with Mom and Dad.
And then, it happened. She came down the corridor. It was awesome because it wasn't a normal day for missionaries to be coming home, so it wasn't crowded and we didn't have to fight anyone to get to our girl. As she rounded the corner, Dad couldn't contain himself. And I said "Go get her!!!" And so they did. Oh the love. It was beautiful. (look at Conli's face)
Nanny got a hug.
And Conli couldn't hardly contain herself. She was crying the minute she saw her. Oh it was so sweet. She has missed her Kyli sooooo much!

Then we turn around to see this: oh how I love that man of mine.
All Max cared about was that he was as tall or taller than Ky when she got home.
And he did it.
