Reunited, and it feels so Good!!!

If you will, close your eyes and take yourself into our last post where we were showing off Sawyer's ever flowing mullet- disguised by a cute head band....now open and TA-DA!!! It's a new hair cut of cuteness!!! I love it!!! Thank you Heather!
We were able to have a girls night of JUST DANCING goodness last week at Heather's. It was great. and this game could've been played all.night.long. we were loving it.
this was step by step I think
However, Summer didn't join in on the dancing..."not her thing", so that's what she gets- food turd on her shirt! Got Property???
Jess, Heather and Jordan rockin

wahoo!!! go ladies!!!

feel it feel it!!!!

it was sooo fun to play and laugh and talk all night! thanks Heath and Jess for planning and Sab for the game!!!

ladies chillin at the park to celebrate our Janei'a friend!!!
Happiest Birfday lovely!
Janei'a, Ang, Nicolle, Me, Kelly & SummerI was super happy to find that Sawyer had discovered how to draw these sweetest little faces!!! I love baby drawings!!! Not so happy that she'd discovered to try her skills out on Max's desk...but whatever!

hehe- look at the eyes!

Conli was lucky enough to encounter kindergarten shots....dun dun DUNNNN. It was chaos and tears and screams and scariness, but she prevailed!

After a night of planning and strategizing how one would win a first grade fun run (.8 of a mile), trying on 6 pairs of shoes, trying desperately to fall asleep early, only to be too excited to get to sleep at all.....
Max's long awaited field day had finally arrived!!!!
The fun run started a little after 8 a.m. so Brent took Max over a wee bit early cuz he was super anxious (max, not brent) and I walked over with Sawyer just in the nick of time! He ran the whole way and was the first in his class! Yay Max!

The girls were waiting ever so patiently for Max's next race to come up, but he beckoned them to come sit by him and this is how they ended up...oh the love!!!!

After the 4x4 relay. It was not mentioned to Max that it really wasn't a full 400 meter, but it was far for these little legs!!!! His team took 2nd!

Just cheerin on our boy!
that afternoon, I got a little test from a friend and decided to give it a little try....i fully underestimated myself based on recent past experience. So when the little lines appeared quite promptly, I was totally SHOCKED!!!

the worst part was that Brent was gone with the kids fishing and I couldn't get ahold of him for an hour and a half!!! I was DYING!!!!

so there you have it, while the kids were off doing this: I was home preparing for January 23.....yes, I know that's a long ways away, but who's ever know me to keep a secret like this for more than and hour and a half????

just our girlies
one day Sawyer will have the smiling down...nice and Easy soy, nice and easy

Well, Tuesday was a day I've been looking forward to for months!!!!!

Casi was coming home to surprise Kyli for graduation and she was bringing Shamar and Nya with her!!!!!
The best part was that we headed up to Logan the same time her plane was supposed to be landing and when I realized that we were coming upon the airport exit the same time her ride was, I HAD to go in and see her!!!!!

When we got to the baggage claim where my uncle, aunt and cousin were waiting for them, I was SOOOO antsy!!! Luckily, I spotted Nya soon and ran up the stairs to get them right as they stepped onto the escalator to come down to us, and so we were there yelling at each other and pointing at eachother from different places. It was awesome!

Yes, those are tears in our eye parts. We held and cried!

I LOVED IT EVERY BIT!!!!!

the arrival crew!!!!!

We made it up to Logan about 1/2 hour before them and found out Kyli wasn't coming home until after graduation that night! WELL THAT JUST WOULDN'T DO!!!!!! Luckily, I was able to get her to come home right before Casi showed up by telling her I had something for her that I wanted her to have before graduation and I promised she wouldn't regret it

Kyli and dad passed the waiting time with a dance

and when Scott pulled up, Kyli was a little confused. I said, "they've got it, it's in there. Just hang on."

then Casi came screaming around the back side. it was soooo sweet!

then these little ones came a'runnin

Next was Daddy's turn. Mom couldn't hardly handle it!

Then Mardy saw Papa....pure sweetness!

of course we had to catalog the moments after.

cousins were playing for the first time in 3 years!

hmmm how does Jess always get in on the pictures!!!! and sisters reuniting!twirlies on the lawn and playing with Uncle Jess!
cuteness!!!
I turned around to "casi" and said, "OH they're holding hands!" only, it wasn't casi there...it was a stranger, so I told the stranger that if she knew how cute that was, she'd be happy for me...
graduations are the most boring. we even went late.

but finally she was done!

there she is!!!

Jaz & Ky waving at me and dad!
these 2 became inseperable the minute they came in contact with eachother!!!!
who doesn't love Uncle Jess!!!???
this was a Graduation Day Miracle!!!!! Sawyer's been deathly afraid of Colton for EVER and this was uh-maze-ing!!! Go Colton!
Conli loving her uncle Ben!

trying to get me and the graduate, Casi snuck in....why people!!! why???

kyli and her Colton

cuties

she really does love Jess

gangsta

auntie tone!

me and my sissies!

la familia!!!! Tate and Derek, how we were missing you!!!!!!

proud parents

dad and all his ladies!
uncle scott made it into this one!

and jess made it into this one!
jena also had a special moment in this picture- it's ok Carla!

if you can't tell, jess was feeling a bit left out in the picture area

so I grabbed him by his nipples, pulled him onto my lap and we had a kids+dad picture just for himmy special sisters

unca scott

the kids kept themselves entertained on the hills, and only Sawyer had a run in with the street....

rolling down the hills on the way back to the car!

Post graduation photo time, we all ended up at mom and dad's for a delicious feast for the graduate! Pizza, subways, desserts, salads galore...i'm getting full thinking about it. And, before you go any further, let it be know that I took about 100 pictures from this point of the night (around 8 pm until we went to bed at midnight)
so blessed
can you actually hear her laughing her head off??? I can!

Dad decided to treat us all to his story of Sawyer's birth for some reason.....this was apparently how she looked when they found her....

we were laughing our heads off

oh hello! there's a baby here!

what!!!???

then, dad nominated me to "ride the pony"
he knows he's the only one that can really do it
but i gave it my all

Casi introduced us to some new southern dances and dad was feelin it!
i haven't laughed so hard in a long time!

Nya gave us a show also....flex!!!
this next series are pictures from the men of the house....I was trying to get in on the GQ

then, we of course had to introduce the family that hadn't play shake it yet, to the amazing game. Kyli, Scott, Tara, Tonetter and Jazmyn all gathered round.

first attempts, not too shabby little girls!
then dad started attacking all within arms length
and this is what became of the cool whip attacks....sickening....

overcome with love?
I tried about 10 times to get a picture with me and tara, but she never clued in for some reason....maybe we were in a fight?! I don't know...

then dad started shaking me....

and he attacked mom
but made up for it with a beautiful waltz
oh- let's show them how it's done!

kamdyn gave it a go...ahahahahah!

try #2 much better!

tara cannot
and tonette thought we were CRAZY for asking her....
but she joined in after a moment
doesn't take much to get a Roberts to partake in fun!
more trying from Kam
then all the little girlies started in on Uncle Scott! Nya played dirty...

sawyer opted for a calmer game of peek-a-boo
she's hilarious
sawyer wanted to take Nya's picture and so she stood up, fluffed her outfit, and walked to a perfect picture taking place- hehehe!

derrrrrr
good times all around!
the next morning came quickly with a house full of people, and while we waited for Mana to get breakfast going, we entertained ourselves with some more funny faces!

say SCONES!!!!the girls' favorite thing by far is playing with Kyli's shoes.

Then, it was time for Jena to leave....sadness.

attached I say!
Nya finally warmed up to me

We had to leave shortly after breakfast too, because it was Conli's last day of school and you'd of thought her heart broke when we told her we might miss her program! She said, "but mom, I've been learning songs to sing for you." then, my heart broke and we decided to make it home in time!

right before they started to sing-so embarrassed!
dancers

her painting for her part in "what a wonderful world"

She LOVED Miss Kimberly this year! She will miss her so!

And Miss Carol!
We're so grateful that Aunt Karri and Mana came for her program!
It was so cute! I'm so glad that we came home for it!
now- don't you worry. This was only until Tues this week.....we went back up to logan over the weekend and had more fun....but I'm sick of blogging!
