Summer! Celebrate! Swim! Play!

It's always a grand time to visit the ladies of Tuscan Villas and play.

Tiff, Ange, Heath, Me, Janei'a, Wend and Jess all got to go this day. That is rare that we all can meet up!

 And for some reason, no matter how hot it is outside, the children must play in the hot tub!!!

 I took Conli and Sawyer on a little date to Cafe Rio and Emmie and Jaynee's dance recital one afternoon in June. They had a blast. They loved watching their friends dance. And they actually liked Cafe Rio!!! 

For Flag Day, our ward had a children's bike parade.

We woke up right about as it was about to start, so we scrambled ourselves together and headed over to the cul-de-sac to decorate the bikes.

 Finley was not amused....

 They blasted music and we rode along behind them. A TON of people showed up and afterwards, Cheryl and I had our scout troop do a flag ceremony at our neighbors.

For Fathers Day, we went all out and bought dad some pb cups- the way to his heart. :)  The kids all made him cards too.

 We also made him a bit o' collage....nevermind that Fin looks like she's flipping him off :)

With summer comes Veterans Pool!!!!!!!!!!! We went with Heather for the first time. That place is awesome. And since most of the world is at seven peaks, it wasn't too crowded. Plus you can play inside or out, so it makes it less crowded too! We love it there!

Ivy invited us to her mom in law's pool to swim one afternoon when I was watching the boys. I was brave and wend cuz this invite comes once in a life time :)  It was fun. The kids had a blast, and I loved seeing my Ivy!

SUMMERFEST 2013

Tis the season for la carni!!!

SUMMERFEST is one of our most favorite traditions!!!!!!! 

And this year did not disappoint! Our ever faithful blanket layer outer- Karri- saved our spot with her giant tarp on Wednesday! So, we all showed up Saturday night and got ready for the parade!

Pat was chosen as teacher of the year at his school, so he got to ride in a float. And her coated us with treats!!! YAY!!!!!

We were lucky to have some friends come sit with us to partake of the parade fun also. Hayleigh and Abrea had fun hiding from the noise!

This is such a fun tradition.  We look forward to it the minute school ends! It's like the official start of summer!!! And I love that our family is in on it too!!!!
