I Want to Wake up in the City that Never Sleeps, New York, New York

The Last and Final Day....
Summer and I decided that we wanted to eat a "REAL" breakfast at least once while we were here, and Summer had heard about this place called Sarabeth's. So, that was our plan when we headed out for the SNOWY day.
Sad to say, we'd walked by it the day before and knew it was up by Central Park, but for some reason, we couldn't get the address from anyone anywhere, and we tried tons. Some lady from information did tell us there was one in "Chelsea" where we were, within walking distance- in the SNOW- so we headed over.
We happened upon this awesome building, which is called"the Chelsea Market"
It looked like a good place to wander, and Sarabeth's was tucked inside, and since it was sooo super cold, we couldn't have asked for a better place to happen upon!

We ate a DELICIOUS breakfast at Sarabeth's-which wasn't the Sarabeth's we were planning on, but it was so good that we didn't care! And then walked around this "market" for like 3 hours. It was sooooooo cool. It was this old building, just left raw and untouched, but cleaned up- it was sooo cool. They had all these salivatingly good bakeries and it just so happened to be the home of the Food Network, Emeril Lagasse's show, Oxygen Network, and the MLB home offices. It was a cool find.
So, we ate and wandered- kind of the theme of our outrageous trip wouldn't ya say?

DEEP BREATH-LONG STORY

My New York Wish came true here too. Now, we've already talked the hot dogs, black and whites, falaufel's that everyone else craved. Lisa just wanted to see a famous person. and....I....did!!!!! We LOVE "the Office" and while Summer and I were on a potty break, the boys were chillin'. When I came out of the bathroom, they secretly pointed out that "Ryan" from the Office, was sitting straight in front of us at this lil' seafood shop eating some lunch. I was so excited! No, I didn't turn into the Crazy Fan, and start yelling and jumping and kissing, I just said, CALMLY, let's get his picture! We noticed that no one else had noticed him, so we didn't want to bring a ton of attention to him and get him mad, so Brent was brave and went over and asked him, ever so kindly, if we could get a picture with him. He said no- he was nice about it, but he was enjoying a nice lunch and said he'd shake Brent's hand, but that was all. He was totally cool- and we just sat and stared at him for a few more minutes before moving on. We tried to figure out how to get him in a picture for proof, but we'd kind of ruined it because we'd let him know whe knew he was there----but we SAW A REAL LIFE FAMOUS PERSON and I was happy!

After the Market's adventures, Summer and Sean convinced us to get back rubs----oh the heaven!!!! This is me getting a little stretchy stretch afterwards. I wish i could hire somone for a 10 minute shoulder rub every morning- One final pizza stop before heading home- tears falling....

After the worst cab ride EVER- we all got to enjoy nausea after it- sooooooo bad!!!! Bad Washington, Bad Driver!- we made it to the airport, where there was a 2 HOUR WAIT and NO AIR CONDITIONING- it was deathly hot, and humid in the airport and it was not pleasant, and combining that with the drive over, and then to finally get on the HOT plane, and have to stop to get de-iced and then deal with turbulence for 4 hours-----I was so sad to be going home, sick, in an airplane. It was the worst ending to the funnest trip I ever had!

Sean getting stuck in the security box while checking in...it was funny

And poo on long waits and long flights!

Here's such a picture of true love!

HAHA- just kidding.

All Aboard! Utah here we come!Summer and Sean- thank you forever for the wonderful trip and good times and memories made this weekend! We'll never forget it! We'll never forget you!!! We're so lucky to have you as our friends!!!
