Conli turned 8 this year. seriously 8? Yes, 8!!! It's incredible how fast time goes the more children you have. Conli is quite the chill girl. She is adorable, she sings non stop. She choreographs dances (hmmmm wonder where that comes from) and performs them for all to enjoy. She is insanely boy crazy :( She love playing. She always has to be playing! Whether it's with friends, with her siblings, on the x box/Wii, outside, she just hates not having anything to do. She is a tender hearted lady. She gets her feelings hurt so easily and cries at the drop of a hat. She is such a sweet heart. She doesn't like to do work :) She doesn't like chores or anything like a chore. She is wonderful and we love her to death!
Bday morning muffins, but of course!
She had a great time at school and loved the day being all about her. Before her party, we busted over to Texas Roadhouse for dinner with Mana and Karri. She loved it.
so embarrassed to get sung to. She was just grateful that they didn't make her get on the saddle- that would've been catastrophic! :)
She had a little bday party with her besties that night and it turned out great. She wanted some rainbow deco, so I spent the better part of my day blowing up these balloons that smelled like butt, threading them onto a string, that kept breaking, and hanging it as an upside down rainbow, because at the end of it all, I was done!I always underestimate the time it takes to do these things!
She wanted a flower cake, and I thought I'd prepared, but my frosting was too runny and the flowers kept sliding off...the banner wouldn't stay together, but who cares. She loved it and that's all that matters! :)
Here she is getting sung to.
And posing with the ladies.
Lily, Emmie, Ellie and Mara
Her plan was to play "Little Sally Walker" and games, and then dance and play around. Your wish is granted!
They played red rover forever and I love these girls for including Sawyer and Fin the entire night. They loved it.
Here's the song they choreographed to show us :)
and my favorite picture of Fin- beebopping around with the big girls.
While we were partying, Brent took Max up to SLC to a book signing by Richard Paul Evans who has written Max's favorite books of all time- Michael Vey. Funny thing is, Brent actually met him at a trade show the day before, so he snuck back stage at the preshow thing and got his attention and he and Max got to skip the lines and meet him and chat before anyone else! He was elated.
Since Lil and Mara live so far away, and neither their parents nor I wanted to drive them home at 930, we had ourselves a sleepover. Their heaven. They were such good girls.
For Con's bday party at Mana's, she requested a "st patricks day" cake!
Karri did an awesome job- as usual! :)
Karri and Mana had taken her shopping before hand, so she knew what most of her presents were and she was soooo excited! She was super excited for the Rapunzel doll.
the cutest dress she picked out
She also got shoes, and money and clothes, and Wreck it Ralph, and other things that I'm not remembering, but she was spoiled.
Blowing candles time:
Jd set rules for the children :)
Bre tried to beat her to it
Finny's blowing face is my favorite
