Tis School Time Fools!!!!!
We had our School Eve dinner at Texas Roadhouse.
Num Num Nummy!
Got our curlers all did for the next morning!
The next morning was kind of a crazy one. I had decided to drive to Logan after the gym and have Casi do my hair because we were getting family pictures the next day and my regular hair doer was out of town and I was a little freaking out about the regrowth problem I was having. So, I sent the kids on their way, headed to Crossfit and Fin and I headed to Logan straight from there.
Dad invited me to lunch right before my appt and I happily obliged. Jess drove up to get his stuff because he'd decided to move in with us and start working with Brent and so he took Fin with him so I wouldn't have to worry about her while I was getting my hairs done! What awesome boys I have in my life!
I wasn't home when the kids got home, and I felt bad, but they were ok. I love that I can trust them to be home for a bit by themselves. They're so cute in their little first day of school outfits!
I'd forgotten in the hustle and bustle of our morning to take their pictures- bad mom- so I had them take them of eachother after school and send them to me. Little cutie bums!
When I was done getting my hair done- and she did a great job I must say- I went to mom and dad's to hang for a minute and grab the Fin. She and Taisyn caused a bit of a ruckus, but that's ok, that's what cousins are for right? Like big mud puddles made in the driveway from Mana's plants? Naughty little children! But, look at their muscles! I love them.
I was so grateful to be able to spend a moment with these 2 this day. How I love them. Hanging out with dad at lunch was refreshing. I love him. I wish so much that we lived closer to eachother! They're the best!
Next night, we headed up the canyon, just above Vivian Park and had my favorite Amanda take our pics. It was beautiful and my kids were too. It was great once Finley woke up enough to change her grumpy pants and be happy.
Brent took himself a little photo shoot:
oh the sass that exudes from this little red:
