I forgot to include this little excursion to the park during spring break on the last post, so here 'tis. Daddy took the afternoon off one day during spring break and we took the kids to play. We ended up at this sweet park and they had a ball. Conli positioned herself for the picture above, freaking poser! I love her!

it was a good week. I must say I was not excited for spring break, I'm not one who craves my kids home all day every day, it's not easy for me. But Max was a sweet heart the whole time. Such a big helper and we had fun! I was so grateful!!!

We're so glad that the weather has warmed up so the kids can play on Mana's playground now. They love it. They love spinning themselves sick on this lil gem....it makes me nauseous to just watch them. So, I don't.

Time for presents! We celebrated Mana, Sawyer and Mara's bdays this day. It was super fun! Here's Sawyer's first present from Grandma Joan...lovey bear that she now sleeps with every night! Good job Grandma!

and Sawyer finally got her very own pillow case. She's been coveting Conli's for a whole month and was soooo happy to have one for herself!

the boys couldn't have really cared less about the festivities at hand. They were more interested in their Wii fun, and that's fine! They take their Sabbath day play very serious.

After getting the girls to stick their faces in their cakes, of course we had to get Mana to do the same! She's always willing to humor us and we love her for it!!!

We finally were able to get a good group of us together to celebrate Meaja and Stacie's bdays. We met up at Cheesecake Factory to get our food on... and boy did we ever. Jesse was even able to make a life long dream come true----just here to help Jess, just here to help!

our server was such a patient, good man. We were all asking crazy things and he just let us be... bless him Cheesecake! He deserves a raise! I love these girls! i'm so grateful they're my friends!

Mother bragging ahead:
Last Saturday Conli decided it was time for her to learn how to ride a bike the big kid way. So, Brent took the trainings off and took her down the street once. After one go, she looked at him and said she wanted to try it herself- so she did. ONE TRY!!! I couldn't believe it!!! She's definitely more timid than Max and Sawyer and I thought we'd be doing this all summer, but nope, she was determined to ride her bike like her cute lil friends, and she did it!!!!

On Sawyer's actual bday we kept in on the low down, but I got her some balloons and of course, some blueberry muffins for breakfast! She couldn't have been more happy!!! With that and having her door decorated, all was good in her little world!!!

I fully believe that my little red haired baby girl was put upon this earth to teach her mama some patience. She "helps" me practice every day, and I will just keep struggling to over come this problem I have.
HOWEVER- I don't know what we'd do w/o her.
She's a RIOT.
Her raspy voice is music to our ears.
She wakes me up most mornings crying for "chokat moke" and by rubbing her hand on my cheek and giving me a sweet kiss.
She is HILARIOUS.
She is LOUD.
If you are downstairs visiting Lindy & Jason, you may think there's a 900 lb person up here because she stomps around like you wouldn't believe.
She LOVES to sing and dance and LIP SYNC.
She loves babies, and making sure people are ok.
She is SUPER independent.
She loves movies- especially Annie.
We love her SO much!!!!!

All she wanted for lunch that day was "fwies and juice" juice aka pop aka diet coke.... and of course I obliged! Twas her birthday for heaven's sakes!! NO, i didn't let her have all that juice for herself!

Max wanted a picture with her because she couldn't push him away and say no! She's so love/hate with all things!!!

and last but not least- our sweet boy. He's such a sweetheart. He just wanted a picture with me, so of course I said ok. He's told us a bout 45 times this week that he has the best parents in the whole world. Wow- thanks sweet boy! We are blessed to be parents to you sweet kiddies!!!
