Summer time means all things water. This day we went to the Alpine splash pad with Summer and Steph. Conli loved playing with Sienna. She's getting to babysitting age and I believe she's going to rule at it!
Always posin.....
!!!!!!!SUMMERFEST CARNIVAL!!!!!!!
Tis time for the carnival!!!!! We headed over this fantabulous morning to bask in all things cotton candy, twirly whirly, snow coned sticky goodness!
These two had a blast. They rode and they rode and they rode every ride they could, for hours. I love them.
Conli and Brynn were with us for a little bit, but they had a blast being all big and hanging by their selves.
Max and Will did the same- they hung out with us for a minute, but then they moved on to bigger and better things.
Unbeknownst to us, there was some little detail we didn't see when buying tickets. If you have a cast, you're not allowed to ride ANY rides. ANY. Well, are you freaking kidding me!? I went and talked to the lady in charge and she said there was nothing she could do. I couldn't sign a waiver, I couldn't get around it in any way. Sawyer was devastated and I felt AWFUL. We seriously wait and wait for this carnival to roll around, and then this......The lady gave us a bunch of tokens and I promised Sawyer two treats of her choice, and she was happy- thank goodness. I felt so bad for her. If we'd known, we'd have been naughty and had her wear a hoodie and cover it up.
Best picture of Fin. Oh I love this girl.
First choice- cotton candy! She was pretty content I'd say.
Max and Will off to the big ride adventures.
And after riding one ride more than once.....hahahahaha...they decided that maybe that wasn't the best idea. So, they got some food to help....corn dogs and nausea....I don't know if that is the best remedy, but hey, whatever works.
Me and my BFF enjoying the small town we live in!
PRIZES GALORE!!!!!
Daddy got off work early and came to join us. After a little while we headed home for a break.
That night, there was dinner and a movie in the park. Dinner was catered by "Meiers" and it was great. Ribs and chicken and potatoes, and treats....all good! We got there at the perfect time to be first in line- there is no messing around with food for us Williams/Whalen/Rameys!
After dinner, we found our perfect spot for the movie. They were going to show Big Hero 6. Sienna was entertaining all of us with the glasses she was loving.
Zach, Corinne, and their kids came to hang, and we walked around the boutiques, ate some treats, and just chilled until movie time. The kids went off to the rides and Conli helped pass out popcorn and treats.
Always so fun!!!!!! And always with the allergies :( UGH!
Saturday morning= Parade time!!!! Best parade ever! Why? Because it's right on the corner from our house, there's candy thrown, it's short, and the kids love it! Finley REALLY wanted to get some high fives from the too close riding motorcyle policeman brigade, but was too far back, and a little nervous....
Lucky for her, her brother is adorable, and noticed she was there and helped her stay safe and high five at the same time. Oh these moments melt my heart!

Twas a titch loud at times.
That night, we had Gunns', Williams and Berntsons over for home smoked ribs and eats. It was delicious and the kids had a blast playing. It started raining and we were sure they were going to cancel the fireworks, but to our surprise, they didn't! The rain cleared up and the fireworks flew! Love them!!!!!!!!!!
Gosh we love this time of year and these awesome friends!!!
