BIRTHDAY BOY!!!

Happy Birthday to Brent, Happy Birthday to Brent,

Happy Birthday to Bre-ent, Happy Birthday to Brent!

yes, if you haven't caught the hint, it's Brent's birthday today. He's 31- that's huge!

SOOO, even though he'd rather be spending his birthday on a FLY FISHING FRENZY '08 trip- and miss Father's Day too, and the Summerfest, I'll just let him- cuz hey, it's his birthday and he can do what he wants, and we are going to be in Vegas for mine next weekend, so I guess I'll let it slide. But did I mention Sawyer's really sick, and waking up before 6 in the A.M. while he's gone? Just wondering. (no i'm not bitter, just stating the facts)
ANYWAYS, enough about me, it's Brent's day. Even though I'll probably not even talk to him today cuz where he is there is no civilization- fish on honey, fish on...and have a happy birthday!

What a FANTASMIC week we've had upon us once again!Conli has finally discovered that you look more "Princess-like" if you take it off your shoulder
- so princessy!Sawyer, likes to be not so princess, and just walks around with buckets on her headSo, about 13 years ago- holy crap I'm getting old, I had this best friend, and her name was Mary, and now, thanks to BLOGS we've reconnected!!! I LOVE IT!!!!! We went swimming with our kiddos last Monday and decided that we'd join up for some FHE that night also!
GOOD TIMES HAD BY ALL!
Sawyer braving the long walk- mini skirt included
Jace, Tanner, Max and Con, getting ready to get rowdyyou know it- trafalga rules
THEN, Friday, thanks to Stacie (we love you) and Mana Ramey ( we love you too!!!!!) We got to head south for the weekend with Summer and Sean kid-less!!!! WAHOO DORAY!!!!!!!
So excited- can't you tell????well, summer was, poopie pants was not...just kidding- loves to allDon't you always feel the need for a pit stop in FILLMORE on your way to St. George? Well, me neither, but thanks to an earlier in the year escapade at this very Paradise Resort in Fillmore, we decided to play the 9 holes on our way down.....oh the fun!
Sometimes, when there's not much going on in Fillmore- except the murderers in the brush- you have to create your own fun. This is called cart racing, and sometimes, it causes little accidents on carts.....
and on Summers......
I'll just let this picture speak for itself
i'm not saying anything, just look at Sean's great from from that really out there in the brush shot!!!! (wink wink)

nothin' like a beautiful day on the course with the sounds of the breeze, and the birds, and the semi's!
ride ride ride that pony
The Hills are Alive
beautiful, beautiful
a girl's got to read some time! And what more could you want than a few hours on the greens?
keeping ourselves occupied
yeah, it's real grass- even here in Fillmore the scenic hole 9. If you look closely, you will see the awe-inspiring water fountain in the distance- all I know is, this lil golf excursion cause many an allergy for me.....
I need a V8 and a water- DO IT!!!!!

nothin like a good ol' Superstar Cheeseburger from Carl's Jr. to quench that hunger back on the road When we arrived in beautiful, perfect, 95 degree, St. George, we played a bit of couples tennis.....it was sooooo fun! I'll just say, Ramey's rule...and leave it at that!
dinner at the "Roadhouse" is a MUST!!! As much cheese, bacon, and fat you can fit on those cheese fries if you please! And Josh, if you don't know what to order, just ask Sean?!!!

My cute sisters, Casi, and Jena and cutest neice Kamdyn joined us, and so did Hart's!!!!! YEAH FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY! and for making baby's cry- rude, but soooo cute!

and, in case you hadn't already been to Neilsen's twice that day, we went for ourselves after dinner- cuz we weren't full enough already. Brent made the server hide in the corner and hate himself, but I guess that's fine. such handsome manly men

don't mind my Quasimodo eye- it's like that in every picture. Gotta love me some Fillmore on to a fabulously unifying and bonding game of Scattergories
then the hot tub!

ello? Are you there? Did you wash your hair yet?

Sum and I did find time to read some things.....
And after going to Ironman and eating more treats then I've eaten in 2 years, we decided we needed yet more food and went to Poncho and Lefty's= de-lish-us

more quality time reading our GOOD BOOKS!
then some night tennis for the menfolk
i would've played, but i preferred customizing an eye patch with my bookmark instead. Plus, the pump class we attended at the gym, had kind of put a kink in my moving skills if you know what i mean...oh the pain!
Sunday morning- Bear Paw here we come! Anyone seen a rabbi?we decided this was Brent's jewish hat- we know it's not, but if you were there, you'd have been laughing. Frenchtoast stuffed with vanilla brulee anyone?

then, it was almost time to go home. Summer and i decided we didn't get as much laying out in the trip as we wanted so we went home to lay out for a few hot hours, then we headed home. It was SUCH a FANTASTIC weekend, and we love you guys sooooo much! T.rue L.ove A.lways
