*02-10-11-2015*

Annnnd another birthday to celebrate! This time is was Janell's and so we met up at Blue Lemon to dine and laugh.
Sara, Kristen, Leslie, Janelle, ME, Rachelle, Alicia, Nicole, Holly
I thought it'd be fun to be "one of those moms" this valentines and home make the valentines for the kiddos. Finley's class got diamond rings made out of hershey kisses and pipe cleaners. Easy peasy.

Sawyers- NOT easy peasy. Actually like hardy party- minus the party. They took SOOOO long!!! Like, hours!!!! They sure turned out cute, but NOT worth it!
Con's I didn't get a picture of. They were glow sticks with a cute little saying we printed out. And Max, well now that he's in the grade of 6, he doesn't need valentines- just treats. So, Butterfingers and a kit kat for a special someone was all he required.

Wednesday the 11, Conli had her first ever piano recital!!!!!
She was TERRIFIED! Like, going zip lining terrified.
But, she did it, and she did incredible.
It was so sweet that her teacher had her and I play a duet for her first 2 numbers.
Loved it!

For her 3 number she played in a quartet and they were cute. It was short and sweet and I loved watching her.
And the support from the family's is always the best part!
Mom and Dad even drove down from Smithfield!!! We ate dinner at JCW and then hung out for a little while after before they headed home. I love them.
We played at the Curiosity Museum one afternoon after school with Summer, her mom in law, and the kids. It's always a good time there. I'm so glad we have a pass!

Floating heads, oh my!

Puppet shows by Pierce and Sawyer

Even a play, complete with Pirates

 And Little Red riding Hood!

good times with my favorite people.

*2-02-08-2015* Superbowls, lunches and Idahos

For the Superbowl, we had Diebert's and Chatfields over. It was decided that I would make cinnamon rolls, so I did. And we took pictures to make Dude jealous. They were delicious, as per usual.

Couldn't NOT keep this treasure. Finley drawings are spectacular.

Had a lot of pullup/knees to elbow/pullup/toes to bars this one time, and I did my very best to not rip.  So, I just got the most massive blood blisters instead.

And then I forgot that I had them and was putting a new dust pan thing I got from Ikea together when all the sudden I noticed blood dripping down the handle....way to go Lisa....
The scoob peering back at me on her way down to preschool. She runs her cute little run back there and makes sure I'm watching every day. I love her.
Got to go to lunch with these beauties for Lindy's bday to Pizza Factory one fine afternoon. I'm so blessed with amazing friends. I love them all so much!!!!!!

Speaking of friends, Darla and Aaron invited us up to a cabin in Ashton, Idaho for a weekend with Williams' to hang. It was glorious. Summer had quite the laughing fit on the way up reading up textastrophes....so. hilarious.
Meanwhile, Finley and her bum were hanging out at Deibert's. She had a blast there.
I guess the view was ok. I mean, if that's all we could see then I guess it was ok for the whole entire weekend. :) GORGEOUS!

We had to have icecream this night, and the boys went to the local "Frost Top" to get shakes, but they didn't have much to choose from, and then the other place was closed! BLASPHEMY! So, Aaron, being the dear that he is, stopped by the grocery store on his way back to the cabin and got all the fixins we needed- oreos, caramel topping, bananas, and ice cream. So, we made our own delicious milk shakes and by delicious, i mean delicious.

 Sienna even loved them!

The next day, the boys went a'fishing for a long time, we slept in, and then we just lounged around without a care in the world until they came back. When they got home, we went to eat at the aforementioned Frost Top and Justin thought he'd try to do the challenge- eat this ginormous burger- solo. He didn't even make it 1/4 of the way I don't think. But hey- that thing was grossly big.
Just some pics of the inside of the cabin. It was insane.

So, after lounging, laughing, eating, hot tubbing, shooting, fishing, and sleeping our weekend away, it was time to head home.

How I love this guy.

And these girls.

It was a great weekend. I got sufficiently stuffed to the point I literally felt sick, so that wasn't so awesome. But besides that, it was fabulous! Get aways are always soothing to the soul.
