And Instas 'r' Us for January

Cannot leave out these daily bits of goodness from my phone!!! So much of life is on there now!

We did get bit with a teensy bit of what was going around this winter. And we are SOOOO blessed that it wasn't bad!!! I'm so grateful!

Sawyer got it first. She was down and out for about 3 days. But lucky for us, it was fevers, sleepies, and hanging out. No throwing up, no sore throats, just weird sicknesses.
I believe this girl does 546 cartwheels a day.
Watching this kid one night----just on a bit of a date with Finny. They are adorable together.
Max has been playing mad amounts of bball on his Bantam team. He's made so much progress this year! He's a great little defender.  Now if he could just not be so emotional, all could be well. He gets soooo worked up when he gets "wronged" or his team loses- which luckily, they only lost 2 games, but it just breaks his heart!

This day he took an elbow to the mouth and got himself a fat lip.

Kyli came to watch too!!!

I dunno....it's normal to draw mustaches on your face right!?

Forever preparing for Sum's wedding.  This was 2 nights before the bid day- or the night before, I can't remember. Heather, Summer and I trying to get last minute things done. Filling picture frames, making centerpieces, making sure everything was in order for set ups!
 Bubba even helped
And Pierce got so tired he fell asleep sitting up!
I got to go with Sum to learn how to do up her girdle bits for her dress! Who knew the process! It was fun!
And meanwhile, the rest of us were trying our darndest to find something to wear in her colors! I lucked out with a dress from a friend! Thank goodness for Merideth!
Artist d'Sawyer. She is always, and I mean always crafting. this was a cutest card she made for me once.
weird, Sawyer is on her head.
 cute littles

Hangin with the soy! It's not always hard......

Kyli came to hang for a wknd.  It was great. We love her and her spending time with us.  She also takes muchas pics---if you think I'm bad, you're wrong. This one is on a whole, notha' level!

I dunno....

Great Ice Castle down the road. It's quite amazing really. Coolest thing!

Oh hello cutest baby in the whole entire wide universe!!!!!! Tate and his sweentess Tyus. LOVE THEM!!!

Conli was next up with virus poop.  She was out for a week. She did nothing but lie in our bed and take sips once in a while. Kinda freaky, but she snapped out of it.

And sometimes I wash my car in the winter because it really needs it, but before we get out of the carwash, my mirrors are all frozen over and the inside of the carwash looks like the inside of a glacier....coldness, get thee hence!

pics from the phone

since we are in the age of the phone taking pictures, I find too many times where I've taken a picture of something on my phone but I haven't emailed it to myself of what not; so,
in no particular order, here they are.
Memories via phone

Fun dips are us

there was a little 2nd grade boutique once. Everyone could make stuff, or bring stuff to sell.
Well, Conli had the great idea to take polish and offer to paint nails.
When I went to pick her up from school that day, I could tell something was being held in fiercely as she walked towards the car.
When she got in, she erupted in a mess of tears.
It broke my heart because it was the "i've had my feelings hurt so bad" kind of cry, not the other one.
My first thought was that Max had done something because last time this happened, that was the case. Well, he hadn't. When sh could finally talk, about 5 minutes later, she was able to tell me that no one came to her booth to get their fingernails painted except her teacher and one friend.
Oh, my broken heart.
I felt so so so bad for her.
I could imagine the sadness, and the embarrassement she had to have felt while she just sat there and people kept walking by.
My poor little girl.
So, we decided that she would play boutique on me when we got home.
I also called Brent's mom and sisters to ask them to please let her paint their nails sunday and they were all happy to let her. (love them)
So, she felt a little better.
I love that her teacher saw her sadness and had her nails painted- she's a sweetheart. And she had about 4 friends give her things for free to try and make her feel better.

So, we got home and Conli painted my nails, and Sawyer painted my toes. Oh the OCD was dying inside. But, I left these toesies like this for days I tell you, days, because I knew she loved it. It was a sweet day.

We were out to dinner with Cody and Ivy and ended up getting hooked up with free tickets to see The Hobbit, from our good ol friend Dr. Bye. Well, it ended up that Brent and my tickets were in the front row, so, being a love, Ivy offered her seat to Brent and she took one for the team.
It was awesome because their seats were just behind us, hahaha...but it was still better for them.
Here we are with Bye's and Hunters. Oldies, but goodies.
We laid like this for a good portion of the first half.. working out and watching a movie all at the same time. We figured we were amongst friends, and no one was in front of us so why not!
But we ended up lying like this to finish out the last 1/2 hour of the movie.
We thought we were quite funny.
and pretty uncomfortable :) but it was fun.

The kids and their dad built this dandy of a snowman after the first dumping this year. I can't believe all this snow, but it's been really fun for them to play in their own yard in all of it!

Cutest Sawyer showing what was under her coat while she was outside. She's hilarious!
and this gem of a picture her daddy took.
seriously....stop snowing some time soon ok!?

In preparation for Summer and Justin's upcoming nuptials, Summer had some ideas that required a truck. So, we grabbed mine one evening around 1 am and went to grab "some branches" she said. Justin and I were dying at the TREE we brought home. It was GINORMOUS!!!!!
We could barely get it in the truck, and then Justin hoisted Summer back there to make sure it didn't fall out. It was like 0 degrees, 130 in the morn, and here we are, trying not to take out oncoming traffic with our branch, and all the while, Summer was back there laughing her head off. It was awesome.

Caught these cuties watching some "yargans" while I was trying to make dinner one night. Dang that red one can be adorable. Sawyer is going to make an AWESOME babysitter someday!

Cheese with friends! Conli, Bubba, Max and Ethan
Pierce and Fin. He takes such good care of her always.
kisses for daddy
Doin a little "gagnam style"
My sweet boy- who, may I add- just told me he's so lucky to have me as his mom- out of nowhere. He keeps me sane.
faces with Fin. She loves taking pictures when she can see herself!

movie time on mama's lap
and 5 minutes later, Sawyer was out.

I re-did Dad's old dresser, which was then my old dresser, then my kids', and turned it green. I love the color. Don't mind the knobs- it needs new ones, but not having any on it was getting old.
cute baby cuddles with J.
cute sissy cuddles.

Brent, just being a good lil boyscout- all prepared to drive in the elements.

Fin loving her apple.
And one afternoon, Wendy and I took it upon ourselves to find sitters and head to Layton to dine with Mej. She ALWAYS comes down here, so it was beyond time to go up there. It was great. Love her sooooo much!!!!!! And her boys- they're my favorite.
