Gotsta get back to the weekly postage......

Let's start at the very beginning
a very good place to start....
Conli and Easton sitting in a tree little love birdies
crazy lovies
Conli finally got a chance to hold Baby Jaina and couldn't handle the joy!!!!
We've been able to join friends at the pool a couple times this summer.
Pool,

And we even got to go to Steph's pool one day! so fun!!!

Our neighborhood had their first movie on the lawn in June and it was so fun!!!!!!!

And even better- Easty, Taylor, Hayleigh, Heather and "her dad" came!

so. much. goodness. to chomp on. all. night. long.

Heather even bought the kids candy necklaces!

We got to celebrate Brent's & My birthdays with the family too! Lucky for us, the kids all wanted to take part in decorating our cake....LUCKY!!!!

Meanwhile, we got the family acquainted with some JUST DANCE BROADWAY STYLE

This picture is so sweet!!!

mostly I love Breanne in this picture

finally, it was time to sing- and take our shirts off too I guess.....oh my girls!

1.2.3. BLOOOOOOW!!!!!!

Max's turn to hold the baby.

JD brought the kids some wall stickers and Sawyer decided to use them as body art. Karri was the recipient and loved her new sleeves!

Nothing beats a park where the men folk can fish and the ladies can eat!!!!

We ventured up the canyon with Knights and Whalens for some family fun one night!

women preparing the eats

kids fishing

Bubba found a good spot to roast

DELISH-US!

Conli feasted upon bounteous amounts of head sized marshmallows

and sawyer had fun roasting things for everyone else to eat.

Brynn made the perfect peanut-butter-cup-filled smore!

dogs & fish!

GET IT!!!

Pierce took a big step this night, and Sawyer was right there to squish his face with encouragement

The beginning to our 4th of July festivites started last Saturday when we got the kids' bikes all gussied up for the Childrens Parade! They look SO forward to this every year, and were so excited the day was finally here!!!

all ready and rearin!

and we're off!!!!

we made it to the end all in one piece and received our celebratory popsicles with smiles!

but, what's a children's parade w/o some donuts from the Provo Bakery for a little finishing treat!!!??? We thank the Warner family for letting us in on this tradition!

AFter the parade, I was able to meet up with some of my favorite people for some birthday lunch at Mimi's! And I was able to eat an omelette AND french fries=the best of both worlds!!!Thanks for coming my girls!!!! I love you all so much!!!!!

we weren't able to get a picture of everyone, but this was who was left at the end!

Heather, Sabra, JesseAnn, Me, Tiffy, STeph, Wendy and Ang

(not pictured: Summer, Katie, Janei'a, Emilie, Amber, Heidi, Stacie)
and if I forgot someone, I'm SOOOO sorry!!!!!!

and here are all the preggers minus Janei'a! Holy Baby Boom we're having!

We decided to hit up the air balloons Saturday morning this year and spread out our festivities over the WHOLE weekend. It was the longest holiday ever and we loved EVERY MINUTE of it! We met up with the family for breakfast at 6 am

then headed over to watch the balloons fill up with air, then deflate because it was too windy for them to take off. It was still fun though! I loved watching the sun come up!

and the kids had a ball!

this was the most open these boys' eyes were all morning! Good sports!!!! :)

the only thing we were missing this year was our sweetheart Conli. We had Marty come down for the weekend for his birthday because we figured he'd have more fun here! no offense to the fam of course, but we do more stuff for the holiday! :) and we loved having Marty here, but we were soooo missing our beautiful girl!

me and the boys had a headstand contest, but I bowed out for the hand stand ones.

Super Strength!

After taking a long, perfect, much needed nap, we had the family over to swim. It's kind of a tradition we love! Love these action shots of the boys jumping into the pool!

Sawyer wouldn't open her eyes because "the sun's too hot"

so much wrestling

and flipping, and holding your breath contests

Mara was WAY too weary of the water, but had crocodile protect her on the sidelines

we held a rousing game of catch for a while...

Xander got brave and jumped into the pool to Karri

I love KArris' face in this one...he'd about taken out her ovaries on the jump before

and Karri filled us all up with treats and drinks!!!

Since the 3rd is Marty's bday, I asked him what he wanted for cake and he said red, white and blue. So, we did our best. He did want chocolate frosting- which didn't really go with our theme, but what birthday boy wants, birthday boy gets!

Our plan for Saturday night was to go babysit Pierce and hang out at Whalen's all night to watch fireworks with the Martin's. BUT, Summer called me right as we were leaving the pool to ask if I wanted to go to the Stadium of Fire cuz Sean didn't want to go!!!! Um, are my eyes blue????? I LOVE the stadium of fire, and i LOVE Carrie Underwood. So, I ran it by my love and decided to go! I WAS SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!! Lucky for Jess, Bubba didn't want to go either, so she got to use his ticket!!!! HOORAH!!! God Bless America!

We got to go down on the field and snap a few photos of Ms. Underwood and the lady taking this picture didn't realize it was zoomed in.....she was RIGHT behind us.....

We had a little too much fun with our 3D glasses and the fireworks- but hey, they're cool!!!! Our own personal kaleidascopes!

After trudging up the hill, with Brynn on my back, FOREVER.....we finally got to the truck and got to play highschool and ride in the back on the way home!

pre-wind

driving

Sunday was a crazy busy day. We were able to go to Jaina's baby blessing, but had to leave straight away to get to Cody & Ivy's twinners blessing. Well, we couldn't make it to the actual blessing, but made it to the luncheon- which is more fun anywho right!?

The kids had a BLAST playing baseball, and all over the town park ;)

I had a blast chatting with my Ivy and the Hunter clan!!!!

Sawyer had a blast taking awesome pictures of everyone! Becky- because you are a dedicated reader, I salute you with this picture- I know you'll love it!

And after Aubrey took some beautiful pictures of all the girlies, including Sawyer, Layni tried her photog skills out on our girl!

Straight from the park, we headed over to Whalen's for a 4th of July barbie, and then straight to Mana's for a culdesac of FIRE!

That brings us to today......

the blasted parade.

If it were just 2 hours shorter and 15 degrees colder it'd be perfect, but I think we need to make a new tradition to take the place of this thing!!!! THANKS SO MUCH to Summer's dad for the tickets though!!!! They're always awesome!!!! What would our 4th of July be w/o you in our lives!!! :)

Summer brought fun packs for all the kids....it was awesome!

And after that, we hit up Wendy's for a great meal. Brent took the boys fishing and Sawyer and I took a 3 hours nap. LUXURIOUS!!!! It was a GREAT weekend. I'm so grateful to live where we do, to have the family we have and to be blessed with such wonderful friends!!!!!
