In no particular order, I give you some more of August.
We tried a couple times to get a big group together to do a Date Night at Seven Peaks, but it never worked out, so we just went with Chatty's one night. And I'm so glad we went. It was really fun.
To kick off the night, Wendy decided to step into the biggest mud puddle at the park....it was grace in it's truest form :)
She also wanted to take a video of the toilet bowl for her kids to see, but she forgot to turn on the video camera....that's why these pictures are funny to us. Cute feet though right? :)
away they go!!!
and they're done
good job kids huh?
They all made me go on the Boomerang. I despise that ride. It is pure evil to me. I am a hater of all things high, and fast and backwards, and last year when I went on it to appease my son so he'd think I'm cool, I vowed I'd never go on it with Brent again.....Well, we went. I got anxiety so bad. I started losing feeling in my hands and got a stummy ache, and was DYING! Here the boys are waiting in line....
and here we have our pretty night sky
and besides the fact that Brent makes slides SUPER fast, I apparently have a hard time staying on tubes. The dang standing water at the bottom of the slide bucked me right out! The best part though is Wend's giggling at me!
(the video won't load.....lame balls)
I also had a minor misshap on the lily pads. I ended up in the splits.
I was able to do them though, so that's a bonus right?
we capped off our night with non other than JCW cheese fries and shake and burger....shared all of it so it's not so bad right?????
twas a wonderful date night and I love that Chatty's came with us!
Once I was gone doing something, and these pics came to me on my phone.
I love that my children all take after me.
Finley will figure it out soon enough, I assure you!
Here are some "action" shots of the kiddos games. They are hilarious to watch I tell ya!
Conli's is actually more of bunch ball
amd hanging out
Max's team is actually really good. He plays half goalie, half on the field. He's great. He hasn't played for a couple years, but he's surprising me with his skills!
Sawyer's team is pretty much ridiculous. They just do this:
one game her cute little team mate just kept running over to his parents moaning, "but I'm so exhausted."
I love how hard they try to not have to play.
She has been known to, at every game mind you, sit down and untie her shoes so that she has to hobble off the field and take a water break and get her shoe retied because it came "undone"....wow.
cute spectator
Had to have a fashion show after church one time cuz the girls looked so cute.
I love it when I find dresses at DownEast for $6
then they wanted me in on the action- cute ladies.
and my Maxwell
We were able to cool off one sunny day at the Cheese for fun. The kids love that blasted place, and I have to say I don't hate it. We took Lily and Ethan along for the ride too. Twas fun!
Dar came to play for the wknd, so we had to get the lassies together for some fun. Kyli was even down to play! Love that she came on the town with us!
We started the night out at Macaroni Grill, where the food was not good, but that's ok.
group shot!
Sum, Darla, Mej, Me, Jessica, Kate, Kyli, Tiff, Meta, Steph, Brittany, Kristen, Heather and Kiersti
Someone snuck drinks into the movie theater in their purse, so you had to be very stealth
to get them in your mouth
After the movie,
*SIDE NOTE* we saw ONE DAY. Do not EVER see it. It's stupid and a waste of time and it shows old lady bum****
a couple of us headed over to Sum's for an oversleep.
Mej stayed and hung out for a while too, and that was fantastic.
We got our zits all covered up,
and devoured the treats Summer made real quick like "for Justin".....
they pretty much turned into "for Lisa and Summer"
piggies
Um, I have 2 kids in all day school???
Toot those horns from heaven!
Here are my sweet hearts the morning of their first days of 1st and 3rd grade
I mean, have you seen cuter kids before?
on their own accord, they headed off to the bus clasping hands....oh be still my heart
Sawyer LOVES seeing them off to the bus every morning.
and when they arrive home
We miss them, but love them, when they're gone.
Twinners!
i feel like maybe a tiny she looks like me here.....
and on the way home from a fun occasion, she opened her window, let the breeze fly through her
har and feel fast asleep
Finney, just on a morning, say, oh, around 5:30 am, her time of choice to rise.....uggers
For Labor Day we took the kids, as a whole family, plus dad, minus Fin, to Seven Peaks. It was really cold. But the kids didn't mind and Daddy doesn't mind, so I just laid low and he played in the water with them.
After we went to Burger Supreme for some nummalicious lunch
I finally got my phone to take self portraits that you can see as you take them- does that make sense- it's kind of my dream come true- so we've been playing with it alot.
ok, almost caught up.....note the *almost.
Brent and I went on a trip a couple weeks ago, and you know how me and cameras do on trips!
cheers
