Just thought we'd take a moment and focus on the mullet...comin in nicely....
Ray came out in October, so of course we had a hair did party! Mom, Kara and Janet came over and we played all day. Love her! These are my oldest friends- as in, we've been friends since we were 10. What memories we have!!!
When Kara came down to get hairs done, I told her to leave Haddy here for a sleepover since we were going to be going up for conference that weekend. We love Miss Haddy, and she was a delight. First things first- doing nails. She and Sawyer made a beautiful disaster out of their digits.
And Fin thought she could play too, but she couldn't...just eat.
We had to venture out to the parks of goodness. It was such perfect weather!!! Sawyer and Alec climbed and climbed.
this new "cheese face".....hmmm...chris farley??
mas betta!
Cute Hads
Fin trying to get me to figure out what she wanted.....slides...and more slides...
Cute Isaac playing peek a boo
this is her nemesis. She just climbs up to it, but never wants to venture in. The thing is, it's the only way to the slide.....
Luckily, Abrea took a chance, so she followed.
That evening, we met up at another park with the big kids so that they could play. It was Easton's bday celebration of sorts :) We love this park! And these friends.
all my swinging gals.
cute kids
max wanted some jumping pics. so, we tried.
They loved hanging
and hated me when I wouldn't help them....
Fin loved this "lide" and went on it the whole time practically
mmmmmm oreo cuppy cakes- a la Heather- delicious.
soooo tired out. We all climbed in my bed that night for a lil movie, and these 2 crashed hard. They're so cute.
The next day, we left to my parents for conference weekend- i don't think they really wanted to watch it anyway- sorry about the noise!!!!!
Aunt Tonette came up too. It was fun. While the boys went to Priesthood, we went to Charlie's- cuz it's soooooo nummers. The kids loved their ice cream, and I made it up to Max by getting him a donut on the way home. Poor kid- no ice cream for you!
Finley took it upon herself to eat most of my treat- danget!!!
Kyli and I were laughing so hard during picture time...
Love her beautiful face.
Conference was wonderful. During the opening song, I felt the spirit bare witness that this is true. That everything that I was going to hear is coming from my Father in Heaven. It was powerful, and simple all at the same time. I was so grateful for that reaffirming feeling. The speakers all touched my heart in different ways. I was amazed at the new age for missionaries. I always have hoped I'd get to be apart of "some big announcement" from the prophet while I'm here, and that was one! What an amazing thing to be apart of, this gospel. I'm so grateful for being able to have it in my life. For my parents stepping up and taking it upon themselves to live the gospel and choose to join the church (dad) when it wasn't the easiest thing to do. Life is hard. But I believe in Christ, so come what may!
