*6-22-2014* Happy Birthday to Me

Janet and I both have our birthdays in June- a week apart- and we decided to celebrate by going to the Parade of Homes twice! We hit up most of the homes and were just in heaven! They were incredible. I found my dream house- only problem is, it's far away- south Utah Valley- oh, and the money- that could be an issue :) I love going. I especially loved spending time one on one with Janet. My friend since I was 10 years old. It's sweet having someone around that knew you way back when. I love it. I love her. It was really great!
Dinner to celebrate Cody and Ivy's anni and our bdays- k really we just hang out, but there's always a good reason right!? Love her. I'm dying that they're moving to St. George in a month. Sadness to my heart.
After this date night- we came home to quite the turmoil at home. Sawyer had wreaked massive amounts of havoc on Karria and caused quite the ruckus- well, leave it to my boy to cheer us all up. The new aged space suit a la Max and....
 The Moobini!!!!
The 21, some of my favorite friends joined me for lunch at Mimi's. It was fun. Summer and I were there for like 3 hours talking before and after people had come and gone. Love friends. I think I've said that in the last 12 posts- oh well- sometimes you're lucky, and that makes you grateful. Jess is one in a million- she would do ANYTHING for ANYONE and she dropped her kids off to her brother on his lunch break so she could come hang for an hour. I love her. She is amazing.
 Sweetest Liz and Steph
 And Sum.
We found some amazing hats at Burlington, and some other real finds. It was fun.
The 22, my actual birthday couldn't have been any better. Peterson's were coming thru town, so we invited the "original" crew over and we had meat night and just laughed and talked. It was heaven. I miss those days. Summer even gourmeted me up a cake!

 Miss this lady.
We've gone from Max, Marin, Kaylee and Emmie to this bunch of crazy! Who'da thunk!? We used to talk about how it was going to be when we all grew up and had kids....well, now we know. We also know that next time we need to go out with adults only :)

and then, this happened....we're just sitting there talking and in walks Emmie with this hideous face pulling. Of course, I had to try, and then we all started laughing so hard we couldn't stop!

My bosom sisters.
And my bombing boy

We always have to have a Prom picture!

And these 2 also.....love these people
Life is hard. People move away. People change. But sheesh, I love the life I've lived and those I've lived it with. I'm grateful to be able to keep in touch with all those that are apart of my heart and I'm grateful to be apart of their lives.

*6-18-2014* Dinosaur Museum

We hit the Dino museum with Janet, Michelle and Sab for an afternoon of fun. The kids never get bored of this place. It amazes me! But it is quite incredible!

Abrea and Fin wanted to go in the "star room" like 46 times. They loved it.

The always terrifying shark :)

 Diggin for bones.

And last but not least. A morning of fun with Lily, Ella and Lincoln.  We love friends. We are grateful for them all.

*6-16-2014* Battlecreek Falls

Heather, Summer and I decided it was a nice day for a hike. Something we never do, and it was a good idea!  We met up at the trail head for Battlecreek Falls in Pleasant Grove and of course we had to get some pre-hike pics before we were on our way.

 Sienna's first hike!
Max was goofing off and slipped on the dirt and bloodied up his leg.
Nurse Heather took care of the damages.

All patched up and ready to go.

Fin was in quite the foul mood. I ended up carrying her most of the way.

 Tinsy pit stop

 Kids on a Bridge

Pierce- the ever loyal boy to my Fin. He made sure she was safe the whole time. He melts my heart.

 Finally, the Falls!

He offered Finny his walking stick because she was having a hard time- and his hand.
 Seriously, I just love them.

The brave boys wanted to go to the top of the falls- giving us mothers' a heart attack- but we had to trust them.

It was fun. The kids had a blast and that's mostly what matters! They weren't the best listeners and the baby's were pretty whiny, but over all it was a fun activity.
