BFF's for Neighbors

Well, lucky were we moving into this neighborhood with some of our besties- Chatfields- down the road. Luckier we all got that Summer and Justin moved in in June!!!!!
This is like a friendly dream come true!!!!
When they got here, it was all play, all the time! :)

First things first- Summer haircuts
We tried to convince Max to keep his "elderly" look, but he didn't go for it!
Handsome little handsomes!

These boys are inseperable

These 2 are BFF and Pierce takes such good care of her. I adore it.
And these girls love eachother too.
Brynn- the community vet- found a bird in her yard that had been hurt- BAD and was pretty much alive, living with it's head upside down and a broken neck- it was yucky, but the kids were OBSESSED! They made it a home, dropper fed it water, and found snails and bugs for it to eat! It was quite cute- but still gross to me :)

oh the adventures they will be having!!!

Night of love and Friends

Some of our date nights this month:

Brent and I were able to get a sitter so we could spend the day at the Crossfit Games competition in SLC. It was UH-MAY-ZING. These people are beyond fit and incredible!!!!! I was in complete and utter awe!

Loved watching them all. It was so inspiring!

Later that night, the ladies decided to hit up the Miss Provo pageant.  It was hilarious- and not in a funny ha ha kind of way- oh it was hard to sit thru. We probably had our mouths gaping open for most of it and tried to hide our chuckles for the other parts.  These competitions are not fun- nor full of girls with talents! But, it was the most amusing!!!
Wend's mama joined us on the fun too!
Me, Sum, Wend and Sab
Post competitions we hit up JCW- because it was Saturday duh!  Have to keep up on traditions!

Perhaps Jess got a little hungry waiting for our eats to arrive!?
We devoured these---- there is no shame!

Jess also gave Summer some bread and she had to try it right then and there!

Love these girls. We sat in that booth for well over an hour after the place had closed, but they didn't care! They just let us sit there playing Heads Up on my phone and laughing our heads off!

Cody hooked us up with some tickets to Superman for Brent's Birthday! We said we wouldn't go unless they came with us, so come with us they did!
We ate some eats first, and then hit up the movie.
Superman- not the most enjoyable movie experience ever, but it was a fun fun night with these Hunters that we love!

We also went to their house on evening for a "grass warming party".  It was a great night with the extended Hunter family.  Love these people!
Celebrating Janet's bday in froyo style. Unfortunately only us 3 could make it, but we still had a blast! Love my friends!
After a hard night, I think it was the night our landlords decided to tell us they were selling our house and we'd be moving soon- Brent and I took off for some froyo of our own. Only, da Fin couldn't be left out and she tagged along. Love these two- so much.
Another wonderful date night we got to spend with Will and Alta!! Love cousins that are friends!!!!!! We went to Texas Roadhouse and then to see Now you See Me. It was a really good night and the movie was good too!

May Endings

We mozied up to the cemetary to visit Papa and Great Grandpa Ramey on Memorial day with Mana and Karri. It was a pretty night and the kids were feeling alot more than they have in the past.

Here they were after finding Papa's grave.
Cemetaries are so pretty on this weekend!
 Family picture with Papa
And my sweet girl wanted her picture taken with him so she could hang it in her room. Not long after this, she had a complete breakdown. She cried for 40 minutes.  It was so heartbreaking/sweet.  She just wishes she knew him and had the chance to be with him. It was so sweet!!!! Sawyer started crying on the way home too, and it just made me so sad for them! I know how it is to miss a grandparent you never knew! I'm just so unbelievably grateful we will be able to meet them again and love them and hold their hands!
One fine Thursday we ventured over to a new park for a change of scenery.  It was great! The kids had a blast!!!

And Alec and Finley noticed some dogs over yonder and ran far, far away before I caught up to them.
Snow cone season has begun!!! My children's favorite thing!!!!!! We made it over for some icy cold goodness. They were crazy- for it was NOT warm outside- but to each his own! :)

Max was not feelin the heat!

We also got some strawberries from the garden this night!!! YAHOO for garden food!!!!!
