*9-09-2014* To Disneyland we Go! Then to la Beach!!!!!

Sawyer slept on the pull out couch in Mana, Karri, Jd & Chris's room. It was quite comfy no matter how you slept I guess...
Our cute Finster slept in the pull out in our room and was the cutest little Heimlich!
Each and every morning, the children would round up their pins, assemble them in the order they wanted and head to the common area to trade with the Employee at the bottom of the elevators to have a switcheroo!

Today's adventures were in Disneyland only- then the beach!!!!!!!
These girls were pretty much inseperable the entire trip. Hand in hand they'd go.

With their uncle too....we have a picture just like this from our last trip- so so sweet.
A must have- a picture of the whole clan in the front of the land!
This little poser had a blast having photo shoots with her sister and cousin.

Mana had a handful of pictures that she had labeled "must haves" on the trip, so this morning we took care of a few of them.  She bought a picture pass so that we could have them all at the end of the trip.

With Walt at the Disney hub.....pics of each family and the group:

And here we are- so cute!
Dad didn't get the "blowing kisses" memo.
Then he did and Max forgot!
 Me and my beautiful ladies.
 Oh look! Tink!
 The Floto-Ramey's
 Mana + Karri
And the Tolmans

The girls also had a great ol time taking pics of all the animals and punkins at the hub- and they're just too cute to leave out. I love Disneyland decorations!

This was our photographer. After he took all our pics and lined us all up, he programmed each of our cameras to shoot the best they could. We had to keep it under wraps because he wasn't supposed to do anything but take pictures, but he was seriously the nicest man!!! We loved it!
So we had to take a picture with him too.

On to rides.. I think this is Indiana Jones, but I'm not quite sure.
 Awesome views of the park.
Group picture in front of the river for the Mark Twain Steamboat ride.
In line for the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- a personal favorite- and Mana's too. I love it because it's a pretty chill roller coaster with no big drops and hills. Just up my granny style.

Finley REALLY didn't want to go on it, but we all did, so I made her. I was trying to get her to realize it wasn't going to be super scary, but it wasn't working.

But look- nothing but smiles at the end. As you see above- I was teaching her the art of the scream while you ride and it made her happier.  Sawyer has it down too :)
After the couple of rides and some pics, we headed back to the hotel to change for the BEACH! This was something that Brent and I REALLY wanted to do with our kids and told everyone else they were not commanded to join us, but they all did- so that was fun.  These statues of Minnie and Mickey at the Hotel's entrance were a hit every. single. time we walked by.

We headed to a beach that Sabra had told us about that wasn't crowded and kinda tucked away. It was about an hours' ride, but it was along the coast so it was super cool and pretty. And she was right- there were NO people besides about 3 other family's. Pretty secluded. The only problem was that there had been a hurricane somewhere this week and it was wreaking havoc on the water- so the waves were big and constant and speedy! Fin and Sawyer didn't really want anything to do with it. But that's ok, because there was a TON of beach to explore!

We brought Jess's boogie boards with us and these cute California girls wanted to try them out right away.
Sawyer, of course, cartwheeled down to the water.
I love this picture. Love it.
Content as can be in the sand.
 Jumping in....it was freezing.

Love it.  So many memories made this day
Then the "men" decided to give it a go.
Sawyer was terrified of sharks and death so she didn't want to go near the water after her first encounter.

 So we played mermaids instead.
AHHH!!! So cold! And so sneaky the waves were.

Max running along the shore, having the time of his life.

Pat and Daddy doing their best. They got pulled under a few times.  It was crazy

Then Max gave it a go, but he got pulled under fast enough that he thought he was going to die, so he did not try again.
This was Chris's first time to the ocean!!!!!
And Mel's- she didn't love it.
Karri got pushed over by the waves once. Totally took her out.

Xander wanted to build a fort so I tried to help him as fast as I could.

 We did it!
 Love.
This is about as close as Jaina and Fin came. Luckily they were safe the whole time :)
 Chasing Seagulls.

Huge rocks and shells found everywhere. Unearthed each time the tides came in.

 Jumping for joy!!!!!

Until Mana got taken down by a rogue wave.

Never fear, her shells were kept safe.

 So we jumped elsewhere!
The man I love covered in sea weed...sickening.

 Bay Watch Conli.

And Sawyer getting a little braver- mind you how she never took her eyes off the water :)
playing tag with the waves was fun.
Karri and Bre gettin in on the jumps.

And the Mana who made the trip possible. We love her.

Can't go to the beach without making a family pyramid!
Mana convinced Fin to come a little closer.

Xander wanted to boogie board....just gettin used to the board :)
 Ramey women Models

 Cutest Mara

Love this family of mine. They were all a bit whiney at this beach, but I made them come together and smile for a picture like they loved it with all their hearts. Notice Sawyer's face....she will not pretend.
When we were sufficiently covered in sand in all crevises, we headed back to the hotel where we swam some more! Water slides and underwater pictures galore!

It was great!!!!! They had so much fun with eachother. They are such good buds. I love it!
After we all got ready for din din, Finley took it upon herself to capture some good pics, so JD captured her capturing him :)

Then Mana took us all to dinner at the "tiki room" restaurant at the hotel. It was good. We got to eat outside under neath the light of the tiki's and it was awesome!

and to all, a good night. Sufficiently pooped out. Til tomorrow.
