Discovery Park

Our kids constantly ask us to go to the "wooden park"
and we constantly tell them no!  Not because it's a crappy park, but because it's so great, and big and has so many nooks and crannies that we lose children.
Well, this day, we were feeling generous, so we hit up Wendy's for some din din and headed to the park to play.

Now, this could be one of my most favorite pictures of my ladies ever. Especially Sawyer. I mean look at that smile. I love it!

Then a crazy, of course. I have to take a crazy to get a smiley.
Conli had many tricks to show us
 Max is just cute.
 See, more crazy...
To get the smiley/Max with food smiley
oh these boys.....they are everything to us.
Conli's also always up for a photo shoot!

And Finley had a grand ol time touching everything she could to acquire the aids.....

 One more crazy

But oh holy deliciousness- look at this one. Beautiful!!!! My calico girls are gorgeous!!!

I long for fall days. They are perfect. The weather is pleasantly warm, the world smells delish, the sun is out, and we can hang outside for hours. I hate what it brings next though. I miss the days of sitting at the park watching the kids play.

Having nothing to do with the park-
I bring you Finley's cleave.

And a snuggle session. This baby loves holding my hands, and I love it.  When she gets sleepy, she hold one and says I so love you mama.....she has my heart.

Jena came thru town one fine Saturday, and got to come to one of Conli's soccer games. Afterwards- as is Saturday morning tradition- we stopped to get donuts. We've tried to branch out a little bit and not ALWAYS go to Macey's or Daylight, so this day we headed over to a new one that I don't even recall the name of- it's a firestation theme and it's great! The donuts were incredible. I'd never seen such creations, and holy moses, my coconut creme pie was soooooooo rich I couldn't finish it!

these were our picks of the day.
M&M fest, cinnamon roll, vanilla creme filled football, Strawberry Cream Cheese Dream, and Brent's maple bacon.

Donuts. Our family LOVES donuts. Must have gotten it from Mana Roberts :)

Date night took us out with our beloved Hunters one night and we had quite the giggles while we waited to go in and dine at Los Hermanos!

Heidi was our server and because she loves us, she had me wear the Birthday Sombrero in order to receive some free fried ice cream! Gracias Heidi!
Steph also had her baby that weekend!!!!! Bentley Jett- He is one cute baby. I didn't want to stop holding him!!!!!

And- that week- our tramp had a minor...well major mishap.  The wind behind our home is unreal. It blazes thru here like you wouldn't believe, and since we are just up next to a field, with no fence to stop anything, it cuts thru our yard like a banshee.  Well, I was gone and our neighbor called asking if I was home because the tramp had just slammed into her kitchen window!!!! I was soooo sad for my kids. Besides the fact that it was only about 2 weeks old, and we hadn't even paid Mana back for it yet, my kids were going to be heartbroken. I had a stomach ache I was so nervous to tell them! It was soooooo messed up! The picture doesn't do it justice, but it was bent to high heaven in some places! It's a miracle it didn't bust thru her house at all!

Lucky for me, our kids took it great. They were sad, but they were ok. And luckier for us, we have a strong daddy that bent it back into place!!! Hooray!!!
