And next up......

Brent has a conference every fall at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City. We've made it a tradition to go up the Friday he is there and spend the wknd with the kids. We look forward to it every year. It's kind of the beginning of fall for us, and it's so fun.  This year, we got up there Friday afternoon, and met up with daddy at the hotel. We got all our stuff sitcheeated, and headed out to dinner. My bro in law had recommended "Maxwells" because he works up there and know his PC eats, and so we gave it a go. It was AWESOME!!! Nummy nummers pizza and pasta and salads and the like. I'd definitely go there again.  When we got back to the hotel, we just let the kids play around. Finley went to bed and we just hung out until we all fell asleep.  The next morn, we had a great time playing in the room. Finley thought she was quite a big deal sitting at the big table.
The girls were obsessed with practicing their pole dancing on the trolley....no big deal...pole dancing.
Max made his bed on the couch.

Doin a little reading at the breakfast table- what's vacation for anywho!?
Time for tubbies. We got them all in the jetted tub. It's super deep, and Finley was OBSESSED with the jets. I LOVE her face in the top picture- sooooo excited- ready to jump right out of Con's arms.

On the Saturday we are there, we usually go do the Alpine Slides and coaster, but this year, funds weren't there.  So, we had to find something else to do. We decided to head over to the Olympic Park.  Great Idea! The kids loved it. And it was really quite interesting!  Besides, it was gorgeous outside.

the stairs were beckoning them. They couldn't stay away.
 cutest girls.
taking a ride in the bobby.

 doing some down hill skiing

and more- whilst Sawyer tries to get us kicked out of the exhibit by walking into it......of course.
 LEEEAAAAN!!!
 Some more fun games.
 Max, pro skiier.
and Sawyer- downhill champ of the world.
 Poser lady.
 and crazy son.
For some reason she's decided her best side is neither here nor there, but looking up and giving me the biggest forehead she can find....
Fin was SUPER D DUPER tired, so Brent took us back to the hotel and he took the kids back to the park because the US olympic team was there practicing.  They were there for a couple hours. And they said it was amazing to watch.
Meanwhile, Finley didn't really sleep long, so we took an excursion around the hotel.  After 71 tries, I finally found the door to the outside.....it was funny because she kept coming over to me, only to have me touch her cheek, then she'd bee bop back on her way. She probably did it 6 times, so of course, I pictured it!
and she enjoyed stuffing her face with "naks"

When the kids got back, we swam.

I was trying so hard to catch the different colors of hairs, but they wouldn't cooperate. Nonetheless, they're adorable hanging out as best buds.

and a lil "cheeeeese" from da Fin.
 tricks
 hot tubbin
 beatings on dad.
 and watching tricks
love her gooeyness soooo much! I want to marry it.

me and my ladies. Dang they're cute. Love them so much!!!
Later on, I tried to convince her to take a second nap, but it didn't happen. The kids were going on adventures all around the hotel, and she spotted them outside. She loved watching them play, just giggling and pointing and oohing and aaahing.

all the while, on her tippy toes.

well, it got to be too much for her, because she fell asleep in my arms at 6.  And that has NEVER happened.
 Conli LOVED the fire.

The next morning, we like to venture over to the Farmers Market- Park Silly. They always have cool stuff.

such a fun wknd.  I've learned this year that I LOVE spending time with these people. I've become much more of a home body, and I can't wait until my kids are big enough to not have to nap, or take breaks cuz they're tired, and we can just play all the weekends!! Love you guys!
