We decided to brave the elements and head to the zoo while Mary was here too. We hadn't been to the zoo in years.

It was so worth it!!

After getting home from the gym, we packed a quick lunch, changed my clothes, and headed out. The weather was perfect too, over cast.

 There were little volunteers spread out to let you touch/feel/hand on some animals. I was AMAZED that all my kids touched this snake!

 well, except Finny. She did not want to bother.

 The most surprising thing tome was Finley's reactions to the animals. She was in HEAVEN. She would grunt and screech and clap and scream with excitement.  All the while, trying to bust out of her stroller to get up close and personal with the little fellas. She would cry every time we left a room too.

 we made a pit stop for lunch and treats for Cam's bday, and tried out best to get a group shot of the kiddles.  Holy kids!

 My anxiety got the best of me at lunch, so me and my people headed off on our own for a bit. The polar bear was AMAZING. Just right in your business, up in your face, over and over and over again.

 After we finished up the rest of the park, we went and met up with the others back at the giraffes.
