where do we begin?

I have become the worst blogger lately. And even though I feel like people don't really look at them any more, I'm still a lover, and I want to keep it rolling!

So, here we are in May....I feel like May was so long ago....But, we were able to go up the canyon for some playing one night. 

Finley was obsessed with the park.

 Our little girl got all growed up too. (i know, the english is supposed to be bad) 

Shikeyah got married!!! Shikeyah moved into our ward in Pemberley not long after I got put into Young Womens.  It didn't take long for us to become attached, and we've kinda been that way ever since. I've watched this snaggle toothed girl :) grow up, and we love her SO much.  She's been around us for so long that she's our surrogate daughter/my lil sister.  She is the most beautiful girl I've ever known. Caden truly lucked out and Caden's not too bad himself.  We were SOOO excited to spend this time with them! And after they got back to the temple with their marriage license (whoopsidaisies) we were able to watch them be sealed for eternity!!!! YAHOO!!!!

 Em, Lindy and me. It was a grand reunion of our ward friends while we waited for the younguns to get back to the temple.  I wish I'd gotten a picture of Molly, but it didn't happen.

 at the reception that night. It was beautiful- but of course.- and my kids were sooooo excited to finally get to see her married! :) They felt quite jipped they couldn't go to the temple.  They love her so much!

 Jena ventured north for a couple days and stopped to sleep at our house on her way. Oh Kase.  I love thee. She was getting things ready for bed and wanted him to eat, but I couldn't help but snuggle him to sleep. He's so sweet!

 Sawyer got a slip n slide for her bday and it's been put to good use! The kids love it! And what's better than having the perfect yard to use it in!!!

 We got to go to dinner for Ivy's bday!!!! Ivy and Cody are 2 of our dearest friends.  We don't see them often, but how we love them!!!!! They're the friends that we can not see for a year, and when we're together, we become 21 again, just laughing our heads off. I love it!

 I decided to take the fam on a bike ride. 

It was a bit much for them.

But they conquered it!!!

I was so proud of Max and Conli. 

We climbed some huge hills, and I had Sawyer and Finley in my carrier. It was some good exercise! 

 We took a pit stop at the top of the biggest hill and played at the park to ease the anger Conli had at me for making her trudge up such a big hill. :)

 We ended up going thru the golf course. It was gorgeous.

 Brent had the FFF....and since I lose my marbles when I left home with my kids for more than 12 hours alone, Casi came to bring me some relief. I love her for it. We gave Ebony and Ivory some bath time. They are so cute.

It was a blustery blowy day this Saturday. Sawyer can NOT handle the wind. I got home from the gym and she had fallen asleep covered by the pillow, and had boarded up the back door with chairs from the kitchen table. Is it ever going to get better???

The kids and I went to the park for an awesomely perfect day. I LOVE Fin poking her face out here. She was trying to find me. It was fantastic.

 Another day we headed over to an AWESOME park- Neptune Park. It was great!!!!! The weather was good, and the park is crazy cool. Max didn't come off the "spider web" for an hour!

The last night before Daddy got home from his trip, we ALL slept in my bed....ALL. I repeat, ALL.

Sawyer pretty much is a baby koala in the night....she was on my back no matter where I moved, or how far I shoved her out of the way. ON My back....and Max talks in his sleep- it's hilarious, and it's loud. Conli likes to grind her teeth---wowsers. Needless to say, it was a great night's sleep! :)

 And the beautiful friends came to play for an afternoon of water fun...which turned into an afternoon of scarf dressups!! Love them!

 Finley is OBsessed with toothbrushes....she loves them.

and I made the mistake of giving her a fork so she would shut her trap one day while i was making dinner and now she won't let anyone help her eat, and thinks she has to do it by herself every time.

I finally reached a goal at Crossfit. I've been able to do kipping pull ups for a few months, but I'm always too nervous to do them for a whole work out. Well, I figured I had to start somewhere, so why not on the day when we had 100 to do?? Well, just shy of 100- 94 to be exact, my hands couldn't take any more. They got all ripped up, but I'm proud of myself for finally doing them!!!!

It looks worse than it was....

  Finley can not handle the ease of walking getting taken in the backyard to enjoy her favorite food. She picks strawberries every.second. She cares not if they are red or green, or yellow or white. They are all nummers to her tummers.

 And one Sunday evening at Mana's, she thought the funnest game on earth was to sit on Brent's head. She'd back it up, and plop. It was hilarious.
