Tanksgibbing!!!!!

This post wouldn't be complete without containing a picture of the ladies that joined me to observe the BREAKING DAWN movie of.....weird.....

i mean, i didn't hate it, but what's with the wolves talking like Megatron? I couldn't decide if I was at Transformers 5 or some other sci fi flick! and heaven forbid they had music that made sense in the background? I'm just sayin!

but it was a fun time anywho.

First, Wendy, Emilie, Summer, Bia and I hit up Thanksgiving Point Deli for some lunch- um yummy! Have you ever been there? Cuz I hadn't and it was scrumpcious!

Movie time got a bit skee-wompus, but we worked it out...if only stingy old man would've moved down one seat all would've been well, but oh wells!

 We celebrated J's bday the Sunday before Thanksgiving and it's always a good time.

 The girls were having a jolly good time with the bday Uncle!

 That Monday, I promised the kids Christmas decor for FHE. 

UGH....I was SO not in the mood to do it, but promises promises! 

 So, we brought up the boxes, pulled out thee ol tree and turned on our decorating backdrop=

White Christmas. That got me in the mood straight away!

 Fin was very entertained with the decorating and her cheerios

 and is in LOVE with the newest Christmas toy- 

 "the magic of Christmas lies in your heart"

 The excitement couldn't be contained as they got into the ornaments! They love them so much!

And none were even broken...that day :)

 We headed up for Thanksgiving festivities on Wednesday morning. Kara and Had were there and she and Sawyer got right to crafting.  Mom and I got right to baking, and Kara got to pies.

 Kyli made me THEE best Christmas present- a wreath for my door. It's GORGEOUS!!!!!!! And I check every morning to see if someone's stolen it-yes, it's THAT beautiful. Here she is making one for someone else- I won't say who, it could be you!  ;)

 Fin and Tank spent some quality time on the floor

 the next morning I tried to get to cooperate in a morning hair picture, but he wouldn't. He was ashamed. His Lyle Lovett morning hair is always my favorite!

 But it was his birthday, so he couldn't hide THAT long! Birthday muffins!

 Whilst he showered and got ready- cuz the man takes a while, we got to decorating the house. And by decorating, I mean the house was swarmed by like 500 hearts all cut out by Kara. Each child had to come up with 57 things we love about our dad and she assigned each of us a color and we gave dad a heart attack- her idea- and it was awesome.

The little girls were SOOOO excited to help.

 Finally, we were done, it was never ending I tell you, and we lined the hallway to catch dad's reaction

This was the sign that greeted him when he opened his door.

he was floored. tears were shed. birthday heart attack was a success!

 we spent the next half hour at least reading them all and laughing, and crying, and giggling, and laughing, and crying some more. It was so great.

 Then Kyli gave him her gift- Tatonka hat. It was the best. He was stoked, and pranced around with his hooves out????

 meanwhile, Jess and Kyli got to work lighting the house. And Jess fell off the roof, but don't worry cuz he landed on his feet....he was a roofer you know...no big deal.

 Well, after 2 days of just baking and baking and baking, the time had come to make the rolls...something i've done 100 times....well, leave it up to me and mom to ruin them...perhaps we put int triple the amount of water needed. Lucky for us Brent and Jess were at the store during our mishap and they got us some store bought kinds- what is thanksgiving without rolls???? what the heck!!!!!! Mom still thought the dough was delicious enough to eat though apparently!

 Conli's Thanksgiving dreams came true. Being intensely supervised my Mana and me, she got to drink out of her princess goblet.

 this may be one of the best pictures ever.  EVERY.SINGLE. TIME a puppy came near Fin, she squealed in delight and made this face. It's the cutest thing on earth.

 We played Dance Central with the Kinect. Cas was feelin the flow....it was hard! But we did work the Soldja Boy prrretty darn well....and some other one after it was crazy....

 Kyli was a dear and went and bought a new tree for mom the day before as a SURPRISE!  Pre lit, big, IT SPINS!  It was a pain in the bootie to set up thought I tell ya!

 But with Kara's help, we conquered!

 Then Ky pulled out the magnificent 3D glasses and the kids went wild. Hadley was SO cute. Just yelling, "the tree is so beautiful! I love it so much" I had to give her a closer look. Look at her clenched fists! The magic was killing her!

 the glasses magically turned the light into different things- snow flakes, snow men, gingerbread men, candy canes, stockings. They were awesome.

We do not participate in the Black Friday madness, but we did make our way to a boutique in town and it was a fun time with my girls. We missed Jena and Janelle. I can't wait for the day we can all hang together. After the boutique we went to Rumbi for lunch. It was a GREAT day!

I love these girls sooooo much! I'm a blessed girl to have them as mine!
