CATCH UP!

I have A TON of catching up to do.....so, in no particular order, I give you January and February:

except that it was in a bit of order, then I realized I'd missed a whole folder of pictures, so now, I'm contemplating starting over....we'll have to see if my OCD can handle it or not..... can you handle it???

I can't. lucky for you , you don't have to sit here and wait while I put everything back in order....oh bother....why oh why!!!

Here's a fun game.
Notice if you will, a picture of "the baby" with a GINORMOUS bow upon her teensy head about Jan 20. You will be amazed at how GINORMOUS her head has become since! She was still so itsy here. I'm so glad she's chunking up!!!! We love her so much!

Even here you can tell how much bigger she'd gotten! Conli has to stick her face in Finley's about 456 times a day- it is very annoying. However, she never stops. They are cute girlies though!

This was a moment to forever be embedded upon a mama's heart. Conli got "the face" down. I had to IMMEDIATELY text my dad, bro in law Derek, and Jena and tell them she's the newest member of our club. LOVE HER!

The long awaited pinewood derby finally got here. Max (I mean Brent) had spent alot of time on this bad boy. Max was even sweet enough to let his sisters paint parts- and by paint, I mean pink. He's such a sweetie.

1st ward Represent!!!! Here are the boys from scouts in our ward. Max got 3rd place and was so proud!!!

We had raqlette night at Whalen's for fun one time in February and decided to make it a Gunn family bday party too!

Friday night, Brent had a night out with the fellas, so I decided to indulge the flabsters o'mine and get some grub and call it a movie night for the kiddos and me!!!!!

It was Sawyer. She crashed once I finally got her to shut her trap and lie still for about 6.5 seconds. Oh that girl- she does not stop. Ever. It's exhausting.

and trying to get a picture to prove to daddy that she does indeed smile every so often. It didn't really work, but she DID smile at him last night. It was pure sweetness. He came in the room and was sitting behind her and started to talk to me. She twisted her head all up and over and backwards to look at him and when he noticed, smiles all around. Love her!

This is the only blasted picture I have of fun game night at Hart's Saturday night. The boys were huddling up try and beat us at Family Feud....well, this is post huddle....and they needn't try- they killed us twice....bammit!!!!! But it was fun. And thank you to all who willingly played "the girls game" Poor Man's Cranium afterwards. It's fun if you aren't in need of a poopie diaper change misters Hart and Sperry!!!!

ah, it feels good to be caught up.

I've been horrid at taking pictures lately, which isn't such a bad thing, except that I usually take pictures to document everything because I've gotten horrid at journal writing lately too, and I would use this as the best journaling ever, and having pictures brings the memory back so much!!!

So, for my sake- let us not forget:
*dinner at Texas with Wendy and Cam after running into them at Costco, waiting for 2 hours to finally get seated- but getting a free onion blossom and good times with our friends....which made us late to Toddies surprise bday party- which was still fun to get to late and be able to see old friends- the Wilde family, and the Nuttalls.
*Chillin with friends at their homes, to get us out of our baby blues- bless you Summer, Sabra, Heather and Jess!
*bday girls night at Heidi's for Jenny! Always a good time!
*Father and son nights with Brent & Max that leave Max so content that upon coming home, when warned about being quiet and needing to get straight to bed, he starts to whimper, then stops and says "how can I get mad after the best night of my life!" (they went to red robin and the BYU game and he got the most giant maple bar ever created)

*Taking the kids to Tangled on President's Day with good friends and then to McDonald's with the rest of the county afterwards. Then back to our place with same friends to play in the sun!
*Finley's 2 months appt where she's doubled her birth weight but has the worst reflux ever and it constantly comes out of her nose!!! (it's the worst!!!!!)
*eating out. alot. cuz that's all i want to do. thanks friends for indulging me!

ok. now for THE FORGOTTEN FOLDER

Brent and I got free tickets to a Jazz game this night, so we left the kiddos with Nanny Tass and headed out on a hot date.
he was SO embarrassed I was making him take a picture with me during the game! It was hilarious!!!!
I set up a girls night to SLC to meet up with Mej who ALWAYS drives down here for EVERYTHING and I feel bad! Lots of ladies couldn't go this night, but for those of us who did- and after we finally got out of the door....oh hubbies......it was fantastical! who can ever have a bad night out where Cheesecake Factory is involved!?

We were able to head over to thee 'ol stomping grounds for a night of "reuning" in a night honoring Coach Cuff-Brent's bball coach in highschool. We were soooo excited for this night! It was like a reunion where only the people you want to see are there! Yes, lots of the fellas couldn't attend, but seeing the guys we did was awesome!!!!!! They all went down during half time and there was a little ditty for Coach and flowers for Mrs. Coach and then we all just hung out.

And let us not forget Valentine's Day!
Conli only wanted to home make valentines this time around, and all that she requested and commanded (even after frequent options thrown at her from OCD mother) was glue, white paper, and glitter.
So, it was simple- and they turned out cute, and most of all, she loved them!!!! that's all that matters!
We went all out this year and even decorated the kids rooms after they went to sleep. I was so not in the mood to do it, but I had bought the stuff and was determined to be a fun mom on a holiday for once!!! Especially when I feel they were jipped out of all things Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas this year what with the previa I had going on!

Conli was as excited as Christmas!!! So, again, it was worth it!!!!

The last few years, we've found ourselves at Burger Supreme for dinner on this fine romantical holiday! So, we have to keep the tradition alive!! We really don't do anything for Valentine's but I tell you what- we'd never miss our Burger Supreme! More fry sauce please!!!

It was fun to take the kiddles with us this year. I love them so much. They are really at fun ages to hang out with. Tonight for FHE I had us gather round the computer and watch the Mormon Message called "families can be together forever". I love it. Conli requested we watch it twice and right after we started the second time, Max's eyes filled with tears. FHE accomplished! How I love that tender hearted sweet boy! How I love my family. I love that this gospel allows us to be sealed together forever and to have our kids with us for eternity. There is no greater blessing!!!!!!!!
