We shall begin with another blessed girls lunch for fun one fine day!
I'm happy that Steph was feeling good about her looks that day, that Lor was in love with her strawberry lips and that cute Casen joined us!!! Summer, thanks for taking the picture!

Once upon a time we went to Logan for the weekend. Very chill. Very relaxing. Very fun.
This was on the way to stake conference, which was held at the spectrum because my parents just became part of a new stake. It was a cool meeting. I learned alot about family prayer- and the fact that the angels encircle our children, watching over them, when we pray with them in the mornings and evenings.....it was such an awesome talk that was given by a sweet sister!
con didn't want to be left out
And trying to get Sawyer to fall asleep is always oodles of fun!
Conli adorned herself in some sweet princess get up and posed like a champ.
still goin....
still posin.....
For FHE we were able to go up the canyon and daddy got to fish with his kids.
Max constantly wants to go fishing with his dad, but he's not big enough to go up on the big bad river, so this is perfect!
First he had to learn how to tie a fly

then he had to learn how to cast
it was so beautiful up there
and bright
such concentration!
then Max had to pick out another fly. He was quite excited...can you tell???
sis was just happy chillin

love this picture
Max wanted dad to catch a fish SOOOO bad...
a few crossies couldn't hurt!

ah...the sun....
meanwhile, sawyer just wanted to play on the playground, but her foot got stuck and was being hilarious....so maybe i snapped a couple little pictures!
with a little pause in between

slide of fun
giggles galore
and oh! the static cling
shadow dancer

FINALLY!!!! A fish was caught!!!! happiness all around
con's turn!
she caught a fish really quick, but the hook got stuck way down in that darn throat and Sawyer wanted to help fish it out so badly!!! (hehehe hohoho oh the fish jokes!)
sadly enough, and after one ran to the woods to pray for it to live (max), poor little fishy died. Not after a VALIANT and dutiful effort on Brent's part I tell you what!!!

then Max gave it a little go
nothin!
but, him having a fish to play with was perfectly fine!!!!
hehehehehe
this was a bit of a forrest gump moment for me. I turned around and saw them both standing the same way...they moved a bit when they heard me walking closer, but I made them turn back around and try to capture the moment....how i love these boys!
a little fishy helper!!!

Summer had a novel (?) idea to take the kids on a field trip to the Kennecott Mines the other morning. It was a bit chilly, but we braved the frigid spring air and headed west!
wowsers!
ginormica! they were enthralled by these insanely huge trucks down, down, down on the roads below. They looked huge from far off, but holy crap---the wheels were HUGE!!!
i dared them to jump up and reach the top
A for effort!
a little binocular action
and the kids had the time of their lives inside the little "museum". They ran around forever. Luckily it wasn't a very busy day cuz they were loud....as always! :) We were just happy they were having fun!
afterwards, we hit up a local Wendy's. and lucky for them they weren't very busy either!
holy children!
We got the chance to babysit Brynnie, Bubba and Pierce last weekend for a night and boy did we have fun!!!! Can you feel the excitement on the Soy's face!!!???
and you always have to bribe them for a smiley face with a crazy face...deluxe!
blankies-check
popcorn- check
cotton candy- check
water-check
this is what we call le "rootbeer dance"
i may have made them do the bootie shake everytime they wanted a drink!
more tv time
And one day I decided to dry Sawyer's hair to see what it'd do.... here's what happens!
oh the sweetness!!!!!!!!
we got lucky to celebrate Jer's big 3-0 on friday night!! Belly couldn't get enough of that never on sundae....delicious!!!
we got differences!!!!!

saturday after the wonderful adult stake conference session for our own stake, we were able to grab an uber quick bite of fries and shakes with Jas and Lind before running over to see Iron Man 2. It was way good!!!! Jason was the most excited!
Sunday night we celebrated Grandma Joan's birthday!
