this is the time of year us Ramey's hit the world full throttle. I fully believe that without summer/spring, my world would be a dark and dreary place. It is thee greatest time of year, to us, well, most of us, and I can't wait for school to be out, and play time, to resume all.the.time.

just had a lil moment with my gooey.....kind of a miracle in its little self cuz she's really smiling, not mooshing her whole face to the center and baring every morsel in her mouth for the world to see!

ok- here's the deal. In these parts we have what we like to call, THE PATCH. It's where Lindy and I hang- all day- pretty much every day. We're often joined by other friends, but it's our territory for sure---- anywho...one beautiful afternoon, we were outside doing some catching up, as we like to do, when out of no where, this hawk like bird, flies over head. Leaving behind a tremendous THUD.

and the poor lil guy was so fresh we could still move all it's parts! It was SOOO sad. I watched as it fell from the sky, thinking we were going to be blessed with some ghastly amounts of birdy do-do, but no, it lost it's lunch and it almost landed on Lindy's head.

Lindy rushed into action as I veered the children away. We loaded it into a bag, and buried it in the proper place= the trash. I tell you what, you never know what's going to happen on
THE PATCH. It's a ride, that's for sure!

Conli was so proud of her home made "danglies". She hung some magnetic rocks from Yellowstone off her real earrings, and we snapped some pictures before they yanked the real ones from their sockets.

When mom pulled out the kiddy table from the toy room, we all wondered where it had been all our lives. Usually it's musical kitchen every time we eat- with the kids- but they were diggin on the table- now and forever!

Ok, I know I went a little overboard- even for me- on the next "series" of pictures (that's like i'm a real photographer).... but Max's faces in these are hysterical! They had SO MUCH FUN playing baseball with Pat, and we hadn't a clue we had such a baller on our hands- boy can hit! (no, I don't know if baller is applicable to baseball or just basketball, but i took a chance)

Brent was way popular, cuz he kept landing fish the kids could pet. And they were all willing- everyone except the always scared....CONLI!!! Pretty sure she'd rather eat toenails than touch a fish....

Who needs living fish to catch? There were a few "floaters" in the pond, Kaden speared this lil guy right through the eyeball, holding it high for all onlookers to admire- sick-uh-ning!

Since our HOA finds it financially sound to run the sprinklers in the middle of the day when it's most hot, the kids have enjoyed playing in the them this week a.lot. So, I guess it's worth right? I love how Conli thought she would totally get this lil guy to stop spraying by asking him nicely!

Yesterday we got to play at Heather's! YAY!!!! Kindergarten is a real stinker on the socializing....but Taylor had a different schedule today, so it worked out perfectly! A reuniting of sorts was so needed, and it was so fun! Kids played in the sprinklers for hours!
