Our Halloweeeeeeek!!!

breanne- this may very well be the longest post ever. don't say i didn't warn you!

Friday afternoon, Summer, Kristen and I met Jen and Shannon at Gardner Village to peek at the witches. It's such a cute place. Next year, we're going mom's only though- sorry kiddies.

For the last 3 years, we've thrown a bit of a party for our kids and friends. This year, we kinda forgot, and threw something together really fast.
Thanks Heather and Sum for the help!!!

We had it at a park so the kids could just play and did pumpkin painting and cookie decorating, and a little fish pond thingy.

YEAH for FRIENDS!!!!
Thanks for all of you who joined us for our halloween party at the park!

Em. Mel. Steph. Heather. me. Summer. Jess. Nicolle. Jill. Kelly. Emilie. and Jenny!

all the kids. what a cute bunch of kids we have. Amazing how 3 years ago, there were about 6 in the whole group!!!

we're so lucky to have such hilarious people to hang out with. all we did was laugh all. night.

let me hear it- AWWWWW! Brent showed up with these Monday after work- love flowers for the "marrieds" in honor of our anniversary- thanks deary! (yeah, I know that's not real english- it's for the man- hes a fan of my own little language- wink wink) He did say he wanted to make them more "lisalicious"- which i think interprets into more colors and funkier flowers- but i think they're pretty- i can handle pretty

Monday night we had the Family Halloween Party at Brent's moms. It was fun! I think we should celebrate the night of our anniversary like this every year- everyone all dressed up for us and stuff...good times!

Brent was not a fan of my Gumby costume this year. He said it's not funny. OH, it's funny. Brent's not funny. (haha- take that sucka) I was SOOO excited when we pulled up to Mom's and Pat had not one, but 2 Gumby stickers on his car----so there!

all the halloweeners!

show me your save the world faces

the grown ups who aren't too cool to dress up- well, i must say that Pat sported a great mask- but whadya know, the kids couldn't handle it- too scary- so props to pat!

the princesses the cousins!
Xander's Cousin It costume I made so he couldn't peek a little Pin the nose on the Pumpkin Max wrote a spooky story for the night's festivities, it was even illustrated! then Mana read some tooWhile reading spooky stories in the dark, Brent decided to go outside and howl into the windows....Conli was not amused. She opted to cry for 5 minutes straight and wanted to go home.
After scaring the pee right out of the kids already, Brent then door bell ditched us. Here they are trying to find the naughty culprit!
cuppy cakes from Aunt Karri Tuesday night we got to celebrate our anniversary (which was on the 27th - oh and happy anniversary Mel and Jason too) at Thriller, watching Kortney perform.(ummm she's pretty much amazing. Amazing dancer. amazing body. amazing abs) Sum's got the good pictures, but who was the real winner of the night folks? Say it with me- Chuckie Chow's! Did Brent really make it in before intermission or not?????
We got to have Whalen's Rhineer's and Hydrick's join us! IT was so fun!!!! Brent and I moved seats after intermission, so the big man could have more leg room- he's high maintenance like that-

oh scary!

the crew at Chuckies! Mr. Batman. Ready for the Halloween parade at school. It was cute- crowded, hot, 45 minutes late, and Sawyer was NOT in the mood to wait, but it was well worth it to see Max parading around. He loves the spot light.....wonder where he gets that from ? The Amazing "Wonder Mu-man" as she calls herselfWhen Max got home from school he was feeling really gross...luckily he got some help and got better fast! He would've been so sad if he'd not been able to go out trick or treating! Thank goodness it didn't last too long! Let the festivities begin! Our Halloweening began around 3:00 when we started making the rounds to our loved ones at work. The kids were so excited!Visting Mana Red Riding Hood at work
Conli was a big fan of trick or treating in enclosed, safe places.

"Don't mind if i do!"Visiting Uncle Santa No Beard JD and Aunt Cinderella Karri- Karri hadn't come up yet...whoops!Visiting Grandma Joan! She had special "treats" for the ones she loves!
Max's only request of Halloween was that he get to go trick or treating with Mana....easy enough! We loaded Sawyer and Conli in the wagon....

And, we're off!

TRICK-OR-TREAT Sawyer looking on as everybody goes to collect treats while she sits strapped into the wagon....poor little chickyperfect halloween night Giant Bragg Spidercandy, get into my mouth

Wowsers- we made it! Happy Halloween Everyone!!!!! Til Next Week- peace out
